It's not injuries. Doc legitimately seems to believe that McGruder is a shut-down defender when he's the exact opposite.

on his return, Pat's minutes will come directly from McGruder and Robinson
Pat was bringing it as PG before he went down

McGruder is like Willie Green in 2013, for regular season insurance not playoffs
Willie Green started 60 games that year but only got 20 minutes in the playoffs
