Unless we get a decent PG, I still think we'll end up as the 9th seed. We may very well end up playing the Pelicans in the play-in.

I don't even want to think about that nightmare scenario. They'll blow us out like always and we'll still end up gifting a free lottery pick to OKC after all.

The one silver lining here is that Norm really is as good as advertised.

honestly i like the move for mann back to PG. as a wing i think he often doesn't have purpose and on those nights he feels like an empty player. but if he's the primary initiator it's gonna go really well with what he already does: rebounding so he can push in transition. we've seen that several times tonight and it seems like a good look for him.

IDK, it appears the Bucks are pretty immune to it, unfortunately.

Yea they probably will be, they are kinda pretty good, but good try at least, tough team to beat or come back onb to make it close with all their guys there

That’s a tough loss but it would of taken a insane game to win. They battled but we needed a double digit lead all game to hold them off

In hindsight, Norm probably should have been in the starting lineup tonight. Maybe that would have given us a better chance (still probably not with the way the Bucks were shooting in the second half).

yeah i don't see how you're gonna have much of a chance against a team hitting threes every which way

anyway, some thoughts:

i really hadn't seen much of powell up until this point. it's not really his scoring i'm impressed with, though of course his debut was pretty sick. he's more agile and moves around better than i thought, and he has a solid handle. kinda went into chuck mode a couple times but hard to blame him. i'll add that ty lue's system made it pretty easy for him to acclimate quickly, because shooting open threes off of dribble handoffs is, well, about as easy as you can get lol

i think a lot of people wrote covington off as washed but he looked totally fine to me. if it was just a one-off game, sure move him. but if not, i think he's a rotational mainstay.

obviously i mentioned mann, and if he's got impact at PG that's a huge deal for us because we are MEGA-logjammed at the wing now, and that's even IF mann stays there. i mean, we can make it work if we have mann/luke/powell off the bench in some form of 1/2/3 but i just worry that luke's shots will be too reduced with yet another scorer needing touches. guess the good news is covington, mann, and hart/serge don't really need too many shots.
