Norm Powell is looking like a damn fine player.

The rest of the team looks like theyre laying down to die

RJax is simply not a quality starting level PG, if he can be pushed to the bench, it'd help his own efficiencies and the starting lineup so much. Morris goes hot and cold too much for a 16mil a year player.

HOWEVER, everyone is playing out of their real roles, being down 2 superstars is supposed to be ugly. Im just hoping for more growth out of hte young players in Mann, Coffey, Boston Jr and for veterans to get their confidence (and trade value up) up in Kennard, Morris, Zubac, and RJax.

That is their first regular season ejection under Tyronn Lue. Even if down 30 PTS where they're good at coming back (see 35-point comeback vs. Wizards), only an ejection can permanently ruin their confidence.

Clippers are now 26-27, under .500 again, and back to being in the lottery.

The Powell-Covington move is not enough. They need to make an even bigger move if they want to save their season.

I have no idea how we ever got this close to .500 with this mess of a roster. Really feels like this team is turning back into a pumpkin at the worst possible time (or potentially the best, if it leads to more trades).

Memphis owns us, just like the Pelicans. Can't say I am surprised about the blowout. Powell is great addition, but he doesn't solve the PG and lack of rebounding issue.

I do agree the addition of Powell/Roco is affecting the rhythm of some of our players. Namely Coffey and Kennard.

EVERYONE is playing out of their real roles. Because they don't have one. Reggie has had to play our LEADING SCORER. And without Kawhi and Paul George HE IS. And so on and so on all the way down the rotation.

Memphis has their roles together. 20 games over .500. At home?? Buzzsaw.

I really like the new additions but they definitely have thrown the other guys out of sync badly. Only natural I think? Trying Mann as a point forward/offense setter looks really bad. He is out of his element in that position and doesn’t have the court vision or regular ability to create a good shot for himself. Not much else to say about anyone because they’ve sucked since the trade. If we make a trade I’d choose Morris/ibaka/Mann as the outgoing options.

I think the thing to remember is that Kawhi & PG are out and have been all season. We’ve been relying on role players to carry this team the whole way. It’s hard to even imagine our team at full strength anymore but if we had those two and the right combo of what we have & what we trade away the Clippers could be scary the way other top teams are. If only that will ever happen??

I don't see the problem here. First sign of life I've seen from [my Least Favorite Clipper] Marcus Morris since he got here. I don't think he wants to remain a Clipper--he just doesn't want to be traded to ****.
