It is alarming to me that Eric Gordon was drafted over 10 years ago.

He was sacrificed for CP3. Lob City gave me so much false hope and championship aspiration.

Then I realize that I am not as young today as 10 years ago.

We’re doing everything we can to play defense. NOLA isn’t getting any easy points from the paint. Their fluky shooting has given them the advantage.

But overall, this game has been so bad for both teams. So many careless turnovers on both sides.

After 25 years of near-unbroken misery, I didn't mind winning 50 games 5 years in a row. We haven't won 50 since, and making the WCF two years ago doesn't make up for it. They're still my boyz but this is painful. Lob City was a-ok by me.

As much as the Lob City era gets labeled as playoff choke artists, that still remains our golden era, unfortunately. A lot of positive “firsts.” First division title, first 50-win season, first time we made the playoffs in 3 straight years since moving from Buffalo, first season-series sweep of the Lakers, first win at AT&T Center in San Antonio, etc.
