A weak point for years. Boy, if we could fix that too...

Need to pick the pace up again. Harden pounding the ball too much.

Leonard’s defense is on another level again.

Need to step on their throat. Kawhi, PG getting a little sloppy before the timeout. This team needs a killer instinct which I m not sure PG has. I hate when he dribbles up and chucks a 3 without anyone touching the ball. The other team almost always makes a basket after this.

I remember when the Clipper internet was all about trading for John Collins. And I'll admit, I said, why not?

But although he's a fit on paper--and his 14/8 looks fine this year, 48%/39%----this guy really has nothing. With 3 more years to run @ $25M/year, the Hawks gave him away for an aged Rudy Gay and a SRP last summer. Clearly, NOBODY in the league was gonna give back anything of value.

Sometimes the best trades are the ones you DON'T make.

That's a very good point. But he DID get us to the Conference Finals without Kawhi. I think he's making adjustments to adding Beard too. Hell, they barely started getting adjusted to Russ and now this.

Leonard can rest after this game. Get him back in there for a few minutes and put them away.

Here's the problem--Kawhi has already played 32 minutes and there are 9 minutes left. Zu has played 33 and PG has played 31.

Although Clippers already got a win vs. Nuggets this week, it's still not a certainty they can take them on a full playoff series. And with their entire franchise on the line with all their superstars free agents next season, Clippers could lose them all and enter the Intuit Dome next season empty handed.

But there may be hope. Perhaps someone else in the west can help take down the Nuggets for the Clippers, and that someone might be the Rockets thanks to winning the season series 3-1. A trip to an NBA Finals may require Clippers playing possum, so even though they're playoff bound, don't be surprised to see them lose choice games in such a way that the Nugget's road to a repeat begins with a kryptonite.

...or is this an idea so outlandish, it'll never happen? But that's the beauty of this league, anything is possible.

Not sure what was most impressive. The in/out dunk. The in/out pump fake layup. Or the one foot 3 point floater. Ridiculous.

What was also impressive was how the team bounced back when the Jazz brought the lead down to 6 and Clips rallied to get it back up to 18

That’s what the good teams do is overcome adversity and comebacks. We’re on to something now.
Looking back at this game, without Markkanen, even in Utah, it’s a must win and that’s what we did. Took care of business and move on
