Doc is getting paid more than Coach K and Nick Saban and still "doesn't know what his message is" for Game 7.

This is his message or something similar.
The players have it tough. It's tough to be in their shoes. It's tough to feel what they're feeling with what's happening in the country today. They must stand together. (Eyes tearing up)
The lesson we should learn is at the end of the day blah blah blah.
There you go. Ballmer dare not fire him.

Nah if we win game 7 everything will be swept under the rug just like before.

Doc's message to the team is "C'mon Guys, we're better than this!"

I don't think Doc gets fired, ever. He will leave when he decides. The media praising him all season like he is the best coach in the league is just insane.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall in a private conversation these analysts have. I wonder what their real opinion of Doc is.

Of course, if you win, no one cares anymore. If they win though, then the Lakers series becomes the next test, and to me, he still has to have the team perform well there to be safe.

Doc Rivers: “It’s amazing to me why we keep loving this country, and this country does not love us back. It’s really so sad."

Doc became the GOAT coach after that quote. He's literally as untouchable as Kim Jong Un.

For Ballmer (which I'm sure is what you mean): sure.

For me: Eff that.
This team is Laker obsessed imo and I can truly see them laying an egg in the finals after winning the our championship (the WCF).

How does this man not only get a job but keep a job :noway: . I'm conflicted. I want them to win game 7 because I want to see them compete for a championship this year. But I wouldn't be mad if they lose, if they move on from doc rivers. Kawhi is my favorite player in the NBA. I don't want him to waste the prime of his career playing for doc and losing the opportunity to have multiple titles because doc is a dumbass.

Paul George Believes Clippers Remain In 'Driver Seat' Heading Into Game 7
    SEP 14, 2020 10:44 AM

Paul George believes the Los Angeles Clippers remain in the "driver seat" despite being on the brink of blowing a 3-1 lead against the Denver Nuggets.

"It's positive," said George of the Clippers' mood following their Game 6 loss. "This group's staying together. We still in the driver seat. It's not a panic mode. We have a Game 7. I like our odds with our group. We put ourselves in this position and it's on us to get ourselves out of it."

The Clippers had a 68-49 lead with 10:10 left in the third quarter but were outscored 60-25 over the next 20 minutes. The Clippers also blew a 16-point lead in Game 5.

"We know what we are up against," George said. "We have the utmost respect for them as opponents, but I like our chances. I like our odds. I like what we have. Again, it's on us to finish this out."

Most blown 3-1 leads, most blown series leads in general, most home Game 7 losses, now this. Doc is on the wrong end of every playoff record imaginable. Sounds about right for a stubborn clown who refuses to ever make a single adjustment. But he'll just keep on losing his way instead of conceding that he might be wrong about something for once. :noway:

Oh God. Doc is going to reduce Zu's minutes and play Trez the entire second half.

I'll translate.
PG was saying the players are still upbeat in spite of Doc doing his best to get the Nuggets to the CFs. :)
