when he said he checked out, i definitely did not take it to mean as "i gave up on the team." so yeah i'm content with his interview and i hope he can stay strong the rest of the playoffs.

I'm not. Again, I sympathize with him. I just don't agree with making himself vulnerable to the world. I know he has to be couped inside reading social media all day which makes his depressed and gives him anxiety. So why open yourself up to that? He's gonna read the tweets tonight. Just say my guys picked me up. I was struggling. Not everyone is an understanding fan.

If he told the clippers he was going through anxiety and depression, that's a different thing than telling the world.

Professional sports, TV-driven politics, social media. None of this is real.

So PG missed his shots for 3 games. Big effin' deal. You send anybody to a "Bubble" in Florida and expect him to perform the same in his--already not-normal--regular life?

The most important person in Trezz's life dies suddenly and he's supposed to leave The Bubble, go live in another pandemic "bubble" while they bury his grandmother, then COME BACK and perform at his physical level of 5 months ago???

People, let's get a grip. All these guys deserve a fckn BREAK!! They deserve a fckn medal!!

I love how narrative changes. I really hope you're speaking in general terms and not directly to me when you bring up issues with players.

I never brought up trez isn't playing well. I said he hasn't played basketball since March. I also said its not his series. Both of those things can be true. You're the one looking at the box score without the naunce and when the nuance is brought in, you shift the narrative. I showed an videoexample of how zubac was helping with the containment on luka. In fact, primeticket showed their numbers as well.

I don't understand where you're going with this.

More numbers if you need a reminder.

Dear Mods,

At what point are we allowed to stop pretending that these people are actual members of our fan community here and are allowed start to rubbing their nose in their constant negativity, hypocrisy and complete ignorance of NBA basketball?

Just askin. Are we supposed to pretend forever? What are the rules about telling frontrunning scum to go %$#@ themselves? :D

Give us ALL a fckn break. I'm fine with anybody speaking their social-political mind in an interview. Going to a march or whatever. Fundraisers, speeches. The official team press conference, no. That's a hijacking. Captive audience. Ima let this one slide the Bubble and all. But no, not right. Coach or a player starts ranting FOR Trump for 10 minutes? No, not right.

We gotta depressurize this balloon. Life is already unreal enough. If my QB Carson Wentz hijacked every press conference on Jesus and abortion, I'd be wtf too. We ALL gotta give each other some room.

it's odd that Kawhi was 6-11 from the free throw line. he was 37-40 in previous 4 games. maybe fatigue?
I'm glad he got to get some rest tonight after playing 38, 41, 39 and 47 minutes in previous 4 games.

prob not fatigue since he hit basically every other FG he took. he was incredible today.

sometimes you just can't hit your free throws. or if you're me you never hit your free throws.

I'm fine with Doc hating Trump. I'm not a fan of trump either. This isn't a conservative or Liberal thing. It's a trump thing. But that's just my opinion.

Trapping those empty corner ball screens for Luka, fighting over screens, digging on Luka drives when he's slowing his drive. The defense was quite good tonight and the adjustments, much like Game 3, were quality.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Zubac is not a Gobert, DJ or AD, but our interior defense is so much better when he is on the floor. His biggest flaw right now is not being able to finish at the rim as well as most other Centers. He needs to get at least 3-4 and ones every night.

I really think he's the key for the clippers winning the title. Trez is great but Trez is 6'7 and isn't as sound defensively. There's no knock on trez for saying that. The game becomes a half court game in the playoffs. Boban looks like Kareem Abdul Jabbar out there with Trez on him. Its a hard cover for any man. Including kawhi.

a) Carlisle might be doing a Rope-A-Dope--play Zubac MORE!!

b) I WAS a fan of Justin Russo--but I have soured on his analysis the past 2 years, and also he's no longer part of Clips Nation or any other entity as far as I know--professional or even amateur Too much opinion and agenda and does not defend his ideas

c) As I've written NUMEROUS times, I want Zu to play the maximum minutes he earns. At the very beginning of the season I wrote that if he averages over 20 mpg we're in good shape because that means Trezz plays 28 or less--best for a high-energy action guy like Trezz

can I leave off here for now, Nippy...?

ffs these people make me so fckn tired

we need Trezz to win this thing
and Zu ain't no Trezz

man, they're really running away with the narrative that luka was playing hobbled and his ankle injury is the reason why he struggled tonight.

Luka isn't that good. The NBA media wants to make him seem like he's michael Jordan. He's not. He's a very good player and for 21, he's really good in that respect.

But the games where he went off it was because of our terrible defense. Not because this guy is a wizard imo. He struggled all year long against the clips, regular season included and got two good games and people are frothing at the mouth. lol.

He's special no doubt but lets not count our eggs just yet.
