Mann is no starting point guard
or even a backup point guard
Reggie doing well as the backup but overmatched as a starter

Lowry is not better than Wall at this point.
I haven't seen him play this year and I'm sure you're right. But he's still 12/4 with 5.4 apg, which is better than Mann or Reggie and I think Kawhi and PG will follow Lowry [or Conley] as their leader.
We have a 4th-quarter problem.. The Kawhi-PG two-man game is not getting it done. Law Murray is on the case.

So just get the game into OT and we're gold right?
As far as Lowry goes, isn't he almost certainly negative trade value at this point? He's $28M this year and $29M next year fully guaranteed. He's not toxic like Westbrook but his salary far outweighs his production. I'm not sure how much Miami is actually trying to move him (they may not be for all I know), but if they are he should be an easy get if you have expiring money to offer, or say Marcus plus filler. Then we put actual assets towards a big.
To me that's the reasonable scenario for a hypothetical Lowry acquisition. If any positive assets are involved, no way- he's too much of a cap burden next year.
