and sign and trade DJ for Al Horford.

we would have a very short and narrow window to the championship but CP/JJ/Casspi/Horford/Boogie as our starting 5 with Green/Austin(ouch) to build the bench around.
ehhhhh f it.

i love horford for this team but dj is attaining a new level on defense. i think we gotta keep him. it'd be different if horford were like 28 but he's that's not the case.

if we are going with DJ and Boogie together hypothetically, I sure hope CP makes our club a half court team and we can play defense an outrebound to prevent the other team employing small ball from running and gunning.

it is fun to ponder about all these but the truth is Doc will stay and we won't make a deal. and if we do, it would be a severe net negative of giving up in talent as well as future draft picks for a go for broke deal focused in one season.

if cousins comes to clips I will no longer be a fan. I am tired of this team taking on head cases and trying to change someone who will never change. do you see any of those types on a championship team?

It actually pisses me off to see Clippers fans rooting to send Blake away to bring that dude of all people. Like have you all forgotten this?

for someone as uber talented as this guy, there's a reason why sacramento wants to listen to offers.

Scott Skiles resigned as Magic head coach today. This is only after 1 season. I heard that he and management weren't seeing eye-to-eye.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Yeah, what OKC's doing is another piece of evidence that people put way too much weight into regular season performance. Cool, you have these two all time great teams and there's no way anyone else than them gets to the finals and whatever. Enter the Thunder, a team that was mostly thought of as stuck, just like we were, they get into a rhythm for a couple of weeks and who cares how historically great those two teams were, they're perfectly beatable in a seven games series.

It's painful cause I could perfectly see us doing what they're doing if we were fully healthy and a couple breaks went our way. But it's another reason to be patient with this core and wait for things to go our way.

I guess the Warriors are seeing what Doc meant in the preseason when he said that you need luck to win a championship. They tried changing his words to make it sound like he said they got lucky but anyone with a brain knew what he meant. These players, hell people in general that need to think people are always doubting them, they need to prove something to others... and by doing that they twist words... stupid and immature. If you need "bulletin board material" to get you to want to win then you are weak.

meh, i'm over it anyway.

you sure are right though. only idiot warrior players, fans, and the mainstream media understood it as anything but. kind of amazing how much tougher it is to win in the playoffs when you have injuries and are actually playing a team of worth, right?

I still think Durant does a 2 year deal with the opt out for next summer, but the possibilities will give people something to talk about for the next month.

Yeah, if anything this playoff run only makes it more likely that he stays. I bet he's only thinking about a rematch right now.

It sure would be amazing if he somehow decided to come here though.
