So was Jamal Crawford. He was still terrible in the playoffs. So is Trez.

6MOY, or as I call it, the most minutes / highest PPG off the bench award. Andre Iguodala averaging 7/4/3 in 15-16 was a better 6th man than Jamal. Boris Diaw averaging 9/4/3 in 13-14 was a better 6th man than Jamal. Of course I've always had a slight bias against the award because it seems to suggest to people that it means that players is the league's best overall bench player, when many times it's not even close.

This would be a very good down payment on that answer being no.

This offseason will answer that question. If Doc and Trez are still here next season, he'll leave after the inevitable second-round exit.

I'm very worried that Doc will blame the bubble and injuries for this and Ballmer will believe it like he's believed all of Doc's other excuses.

I fully expect Doc to go into his activist mode and get player support. Trust me, he ain't going anywhere.

Ballmer needs to grow a pair and fire Doc no matter what he says after Game 7. Any negative PR he might get from firing Doc will be minuscule compared to what happens when Kawhi and PG walk for nothing after Doc wastes another season of their primes.

The Clippers are -60 in the playoffs with Montrezl Harrell on the court, +130 with him on the bench.

He wouldn't be coming here for props had he really bet on the Nuggets. :)

I think it’s a littler trickier than this. Doc was apparently a significant reason why Kawhi came here in the first place, so Kawhi would basically have to sign off on him getting fired. I’m confident West could, if necessary, convince Kawhi and Ballmer that Doc is holding the team back.

This isn't college. Superstars aren't picking their teams for the coach. It's about players, location, branding opportunities and shoe deals.

If, for some bizarre reason, Kawhi's not willing to play for any coach other than Doc, just trade him for all the young players and draft picks we can get. We would literally be better off rebuilding all over again than letting Doc waste another season of Kawhi's career.

Here's some simple math, if the role players show up, none of this matters. Kawhi and PG combined for 58 points and the team scored 98. You got 9 combined points from 3 starters in 78 minutes and Shamet scores 1 point in 20 minutes of play.

So someone tell me, outside of the others producing at close to or their normal rate, what would've won the game? And it's honestly not as simple as bench Trezz. What's the solution? Since there's so many coaching experts in here

Yes it is. We are -60 with Trez on the court this postseason. Enough is enough. Any other coach would have benched him last series.

Facts but lets be honest here.. The Lou/Trez combo was never battle tested in the postseason. Its a sexy regular season dynamic that has worked for us but we never ever knew what it would look like when the lights were bright and the tension was cranked up to a thousand. Plus both of these guys were the ones out of the bubble and had to work their way back in and so far its been unsuccessful to say the least. Doc should've played this scenario out in his head a few times and had some different lineups. When Reggie Jackson, who was out of the rotation, came in that told us everything we needed to know about what was going on. Doc was scrambling. Throw Noah some minutes and throw him on Jokic. He's at the end of his career but you know he'll get us some rebounds at least and just maybe shows some emotion out there and gets us a little luck working on our side. We're going to need some emotion, hunger, and energy for game 7 or else its a wrap.

That's true I never made the bet was just being silly. Crazy how it actually happened though. You guys still got game 7 but the Nuggets are one feisty team.

The thing that pissed me off about this game was the 3rd quarter. The refs just decided the Clippers were not gonna be allowed to play defense in the 3rd. That sapped all the energy and the Clippers had no rhythm offensively or defensively because damn near everything was a foul on the Clippers and sent Denver to the line 16 times in the 3rd. Free throws got them back in the game on some BS

Sure we're in WTH mode now. Try anything.

We went from a bench that put up 50 points a game to under 20 now. After the death of his grandmother Trezz is complete ass and has left a 28 mpg/18 ppg hole. Zu is picking up half the minutes but none of the points. Neither is anyone else.

The bench has been a complete disappointment this post season and even Shamet has no showed when not starting
