it will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks now that cp3 is out. if the season tanks because of the injuries then jj is gone. it appears this team is bitten by the injury bug and it just wont go away. so close yet so far.

You now gotta wonder if Doc Rivers goes full crazy and brings back the remnants of his 2008 Celtics championship team. Already in the Twitterverse, Chicago fans are predicting a Rajon Rondo trade to reunite with his former Boston coach. Kevin Garnett is currently the Clippers big man consultant. Ray Allen is a no-show, but Doc might cling to him as a last chance move.

Add the rumor of Carmelo Anthony to the mix, and you have yourself the weirdest last chance team to ever hit the face of the earth.

hey guys, i come in peace. no troll nothing.

what do you guys think, is there any chance you guys put cp3 on the block? and if so, what would it take to bring him to melo and the knicks.

i mean i know you guys have still hope for the playoffs this and that and i rly dont want to offend you. But blake and cp3 are both FA after this season right? i dont know how the chemistry is with your team, think i read soem stuff that says chris is not rly happy in LA. i basically just follow the knicks , so forgive me if i dont know anything about ur team. But we all know chris and carmelo are very close freinds and kind of want to play together.

are there any interesting guys on the knicks besides kristaps and melo ofc. i imagine, therey would have to be a 3rd team involved, becasue we dont have great assets. but would be interesting to know if u guys much rather have picks or players.

You would have to find a team willing to take someone from your team and in return give up enough to convince us to deal Paul to you. Dont see it happening.

There's probably no chance CP is put on the block, but even if he was, I don't think there's a possible trade that can make this happen

I had no idea Luc had power to veto any trade, I assume it's because he got the BAE and he'd lose his bird rights. That's good, I don't want to see him gone.

yeah you don't exclude him from a major trade if you can help it, but way too many people (probably mostly non-clipper fans) look at him as a throw in when he shouldn't be.

He signed with us for the minimum lat year, then signed for the BAE (two years) this summer, but with a ETO on year two. So, yes, he has early bird rights with the Clippers this summer, meaning he has a NTC.

Wojnarowski mentions in the embedded video below that the Clippers may regroup at the draft to pursue Melo again but teams interested in him are moving on expecting him to stay in New York for the rest of the season.
