On a side note... holy ****, the Heat just gave the Sixers the ass-whooping of the century tonight. Hopefully they won't play like that against us in a couple days.

wrt paul george:

i think we'd be feeling happier about him if his defense was lockdown but we haven't seen that thus far. i know it's almost halfway into the season but really it's not that for him. he needs some time to get to where he wants to be.

Tough, tough team, though I think some were mad that we didn't blow them out in their own house last time we played them, a team that has only lose 3 games at home, and one was to the Clippers

Hopefully we have perspective this time if and likely when they give another tough game. They are pretty poor on the road though IIRC.

I don't think it's ever gonna work either because Zu's got bad hands and dinosaur reflexes

but if they ever get it right Zu is gonna score 15 ppg and we CRUISE to the Larry

Two passes doesn't mean he's been great at it. Frank Vogel didn't like to put PG in those actions because his pnr actions are not as good.

But he delivered there.

It sounds like you're trying to infer on my comments?
I never said zu was the key to the championship. I said he's the key matchup to this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has a concussion but I hope not.

I don't know what we ever did to Patty Mills, but he's been torching the Clippers for years.

Even the passes are so low it’s hard to gather coming off the bounce but one worked. He needs to pass it harder for a higher bounce

chill, my Clipper brother :)

I said back in October that Zu could be a key to the season, and all I ever asked was that he earn 20 mpg

tonight STARTS our season
STARTS the process

it''s definitely worth still trying to work Zu into the offense

I'm a Clipper fan
I don't even dog Zu--it's just that I think Trezz has earned every minute he's out there instead of Zu

Doc just gave Zubac a season-high 10 minutes to start the 3rd quarter
a total of 24 minutes already

because he earned them, baby

Leonard is way better at it. He sometimes the to force it in. He's had several turnovers in this game by trying to force it into Zu. Two times it paid off tonight but that doesn't mean he's great at it. It's ok to acknowledge that players have weaknesses and not trust strengths

One the playoffs start there shouldn’t be a single second with Kawhi and PG both on the bench.

I think we're saying the same thing. The low bounce-pass to Zubac is too low to reach his dinosaur brain and dinosaur hands.

But I think the "pocket pass" above the waist could be key.

And I say this just to clear the record since I think the "Play Zubac More Minutes" meme does not stand up to tight scrutiny.

But that never meant I'm saying Zubac sucks, and indeed I'm saying it's a whole new ballgame with both Kawhi and PG on the floor together. They've had NO time to see what they can do together---and my original point was that they should work it!
