Ty coached this like a preseason game and gave everybody their minutes

and still established Norman as the real thing--already our #3--now everybody knows where they stand

get your shi*it together
we've been getting cheap comeback wins sneaking up on bored teams with 20-point leads
nice but meaningless

Can’t wait to see Powell out there with Leonard and George. Whew.

RoCo looked comfortable too.

No idea what happens between now and Thursday but it feels like a trade or two is coming.

We’re going to have some losses in this upcoming stretch, we just needed the Laker game and at least 1 more. I think with the new additions we’re much better equipped to make up ground after the break, our schedule gets a lot easier then.

Im still hoping for another move though, we’re in the position to do it.

Back off, Mr Moderator. Your services are not needed here. Let the vultures speak for themselves. Too much "moderation" these days. The point is made.

Has to be for a valuable player because he brings a lot to the table just with his great 3 point shooting alone. He also has a good mid-range post game

With Jonas shooting like Curry against the Clippers, that is a nightmare. I mean he barely even shoots 3s against other teams. I remember him making several when he was with the Grizzlies as well against the Clippers. Don't know what it is with this guy.

Teams in general hardly ever have cold shooting nights vs the Clippers. The only one that comes to mind is Boston.

I've been a Marcus hater since he got here. Over the last month he's been the player we traded for [16 ppg] and are paying $16M but he's still soft. Signed through 2024. His trade value is max right now.

You nailed it! We're all horrible vultures. In fact, you should go find another message board to discuss the Clippers on without all us vultures dragging you down.

Only one or three of you. The rest of us cheer for the 2021-2022 Clippers instead of douching Doc Rivers. And his hand-picked successor Ty Lue. And his hand-picked successor Lawrence Frank.

Update your software. This is supposed to be fun. As if you could have coached the Clippers to a win tonight.

Lue seemed a bit worried about trying to figure out how the bench can handle themselves

Powell is going to be so good playing alongside Leonard and George next year.

Looking good so far.

Powell has always been a solid player and he's gonna be so goddamn efficient playing off of a coupla star wings next year.

If RoCo can turn in a coupla more games like tonight, he might get traded again for assets or a PG :P

Really impressed with how Powell and RoCo looked out there. They fit right in.

Coffey deserves that contract converted if a roster spot stays open but he should not be starting over Powell here on out.

Another disappointing show from Batum, Kennard, and Jackson.

Some nights he plays above his pay scale, other nights he plays below it. Trading him without replacing his ability to generate offense would have been problematic with this current squad, but Powell now makes it possible. RoCo can also play small ball center when needed, which Morris was good at for us. If we keep and like RoCo, we could re-sign him at a discount compared to Morris.

I think Marcus' biggest problem is age is taking its toll on him, so if we can get decent value now’s the time to movie him.

I do think an almost positionless line up of Morris, PG, Kawhi, Amir, and Powell could be awesome to see.

One very obvious thing for me. With Kawhi and PG, we are a championship contender. But if both are back, then we have an overloaded roster which is not really a good thing. If FO think they both can come back for playoffs, they will certainly make a move to adjust the roster accordingly. If FO think they are not coming back, then whatever move they'll make will have to have benefits for next season. That's why I like the Powell trade, and believe whoever we get, he should be signed through next season or have a verbal agreement for a potential extension with us. Hence, trading Morris while keeping Ibaka and Covington would not be good since we'd be risking losing all 3 without any cap flexibility to get a replacement easily.

lucas hann mentioned it a couple days ago in that he thinks when kawhi and paul george are back, that powell's gonna replace reggie in the starting lineup because paul george has mostly been playing the distributor role in this offense.

which kinda scares me cause pg is, well, not really that good at that role lol. and you might have a bit too much scoring in the lineup, depending on who's playing at the 4/5. but maybe it works? idk. if i were ty lue and planning for that, though, i'd be asking paul george to practicing his handle with his only good arm, since he was already attempting shots with it anyway.
