The Lakers even get all the calls in Summer League.

Scrubb honestly just stinks. I just don't see him ever panning out in the NBA. He's too selfish and not doing nearly enough to justify it.

Of our recent big men picks, he’s by far the most athletic and has the best defensive instincts. Maybe he can actually be an spot energy guy for us sooner than later. I’m thinking maybe end of quarters, that sort of thing- if he can pick up NBA defense and not give up easy baskets due to missed coverages, excessive fouls, etc.

I know it’s summer league but that was frustrating to watch at times.

I think he can find a role on a team but as you say he’s being too selfish. It’s disappointing to watch.

When Lawrence Frank wouldn’t commit to Diabate getting one of the 2-way contracts I felt he had a chance to make the team. It’ll be interesting to see what they decide. He could learn so much from the main team and provide some energy in spurts but will get the reps in the g-league.

Brantley is interesting for sure. I’m liking Perry too.

Entire game was worth it just for that Diabate corner three. Very pleasant surprise so far.

I'm suprised how active Brandon Boston is around the glass, always competing for rebounds and play physical. He's trying to prove everyone that he's more than just a scorer. You love to see it.

I just want this guy get consistent minutes so I hope our FO makes a consolidation or a flexible contract on a lesser player trade with inexchange of some bench vets(Morris&Kennard).
Best of Law Frank
PG-OKC trade.
Gave away Norm for J. CoLLins, K.Porter Jr for M.Beaucump, franchise icon Lou will for washed up Rondo, Hartenstein to sign washed up J.Wall
Drafting gems in 1st rd like Kobe Brown, M.Kabengele, Keon Johnson, Yanick Konan

It must be influence from the Board man, himself. I still need him to be more concise and decisive with the ball e.g. not predetermining his moves and moving in such a way that makes sense given the state of the offense/defense.

I think we need 2 consolidation trades for Boston to get some regular minutes. 8-) I’m not sure even what role Amir will get, but with rest games he will get some time.

I think Boston should get some too though.

As far as Scrubb goes, I think he is feeling the pressure and just pressing. I remember Amir had a horrible summer league last year, probably for the same reasons.

He probably doesn’t have the best court awareness anyways. It’s a shame, he is a really smooth player, like really smooth IMO. 20 years ago, he would’ve been a really prominent And-1 mixtape kinda guy. But he just doesn’t get the shots to fall enough to be a high usage shooting guard in the NBA, and he can’t really do anything else.

Diabate won’t play tonight. Precaution for his ankle tweak/sprain last night. Bummer. He’s fun to watch.

Listening to other coaches and general managers the common theme is talking about what they expect from certain players during summer league. The players have certain things they’ve been told to work on, etc…

Are the Clippers working on anything? I can’t understand the game plan.

That was rough. Boston and Scrubb really struggled. Wish Preston would look to score more.

Bright spots ….

Brantley continues to impress. Missed some easy shots but seems to be in the right place at the right time.

Justin Bean has some hustle.

And that’s the best I can come up with.

Cam Reynolds and Perry played well enough.

Damn everybody is regressing right now. Got to get it together. Can't end the Summer League on a down note. Missed Diabate out there. Who knew he would come out and potentially become the best youngster out of the bunch

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
