Nets fan here. Sorry to see you got him.

I like the rest of your squad but the guy is insufferable. Empty stats. He holds the ball and kills the offense. Others are only allowed to score off his pass. There is no ball movement other than from the fat slob at the top of the arc. Plays no defense and does literally nothing off ball.

Casuals look at his stats and nothing else. Guys a loser.

Harden’s not the problem this game. PG’s done nothing. Norm is whatever. A lot of other bad things too.
Moussa looked good on those 2 pick & rolls.

And Dallas is making big shots and is all energy

You're right as things stand today. I didn't think we'd be getting blown away. This is not looking good.

They might be the worst rebounding team in the NBA now. Zubac is pretty much worthless in this system. What they are asking him to do is not possible. He is not a switchable center.

What happened to PG being aggressive, ever since the trade all he has been doing is chucking 3's like he's Steph or Klay.

Agreed Zu is out of his league switching he looks awful and honestly feel bad everytime we play the Mavs because Luka eats him for breakfast lunch and dinner

I wonder how many games does Ty Belichick has, before he can no longer use the excuse "still trying to figure things out"?

Might not be able to hold the fort with Plumdog out, gonna have to make a another trade unfortunately for some size.

The size is a concern, but way too many things went wrong in the 2nd quarter to really pin it down to one thing. The Mavs beat the Clippers with going small and launching three's.

After the initial end of 1st quarter run by the Mavs, here's how the 2nd quarter started:
Mann missed shot
Westbrook rebound and pass to Tucker that he couldn't get
Exum layup
PG offensive foul
Lively 3PT make
PG missed 3PT
Derick Jones 3PT
PJ airball 3PT shot
Luka make

That was 9-0. Just to reference the Powell +/- discussion, Powell was on the court, he didn't take a shot (actually not one the whole 2nd quarter), didn't have a turnover, he wasn't being targeted on defense or anything, the Mavs weren't specifically scoring on him, he was just along for the ride.

Mavs are a top league offense, but you can't play below average defense and be off on offense against them for any stretch of time because it's going to be trouble. That second unit with Westbrook looked bad on offense for sure. After the starters came back, they were just not making anything, they maybe should have force fed Kawhi since he had 2 FGA in the 2nd, but they didn't have a plan.

This team was never this much of a disaster until Harden arrived. It's not a coincidence and he is the problem, just like he was the problem for the last three teams he quit on.

PG is Mr. Unreliable, what else is new.

Oldest team in the league vs. 13th-oldest (15th by usage). Easy to see why the Mavs have more energy. Frank is the worst GM in the NBA.

there's plenty of blame to go around for why this game is in the gutter but man, if paul george is gonna play like this on both sides then just sit him for the rest of the game.

Oh this group so far looks like a need like 20 games to figure things out kind of group if they will figure it out, this isn't a "seamless fit" kind of situation

This isn't an energy problem, that's one of those things like "they wanted it more". The Clippers made a lot of energetic bad plays to get in this hole

Yeah, agreed. The got punched in the mouth and couldn’t recover. Gonna be an interesting season for sure, gonna just try to enjoy it as best I can and hope for the best.
