Had to work, just watched the highlights. https://youtu.be/XMMrJ3Y5YFc?si=YO7qk2N6KhEV9wDQ
PG was on fire, liked most of baskets as they were taking it to the basket or catch and shoot baskets.
Kawhi was efficient as usual, shot 60 percent from 2 and 75 percent from 3. Looks like Harden/Powell were the only ones with bad shooting.
Glad to see Plumlee started as I wished he started last game and kept all the same rotations. I think we will be ok in Zu misses a long stretch. We have the best 3 big rotation in the league.

Plumlee showing that he can be a starting caliber C when needed. Rebounds area bit light though, but he played a heckuva game filling in for Zu. Zu being out for 4 weeks, really really sucks, gonna test the big man depth of this team badly, Brown needs to step up quick.
Give this guy an extension already so he can buy a shirt

Clippers are 2.5 games out of 1st place.
What does that mean or do for this team?
The media is starting to talk about the Clippers more positive than not.
But in the end , like Shaq said last night on TNT
It’s about a championship
I will enjoy the wins and fun games and performances but damit this team need a banner.

The team understands exactly where they stand. PG said it after the game. He said they control their own destiny. They have 3 games left vs MIN, 1 vs OKC and 1 vs Den. So, we can win the tie-breakers against all of them. We have played more conference games than all of them and can hold that tie breaker. We have 31 Conference games played and are only 1 loss back with OKC and DEN have 6 and 5 more conference games to make up. Minny has 5 additional conference games to make up.
Minny has 2 more games vs OKC, 3 vs us and 2 vs Den. They go through the rest of the season in that flow.
Denver, OKC and Clips only play each other 1 more time each. So, Minny has the most to gain/lose in the match-ups with the other top seeds.

Big shout out to PG, was worried when he started off cold but then caught fire. Another ghost eliminated
i was thinking if we were to put a movie title on this season it'd be something like
clippers: the year of the demon slayer
also for anyone who's played the video game sekiro, every time we get one of these wins against teams that have been brick walls for us in the past, i'm always thinking of this end-cutscene after you pick off a major boss

Hope everyone keeps sleeping on us as a contender. Including the Clippers. Keeping that underdog motivation beneath us.
You could see the fire in Plum’s eyes playing with Harden. He feels it. Everything is falling into place rotation & depth wise.

note he had 0 TO's today, which i think is a particular milestone given it wasn't all that long ago he was an absolutely maddening TO machine. and now? he's averaging like 2 a game.
It's a case of just because you can handle the ball and pass doesn't mean you are a primary ball handler or a point guard.
Paul George readily admitted his struggle with the role and we all knew it, but it was what the roster had. Now that his main focus when he gets the ball is to shoot/score, he's not overthinking things, and he's also not feeling pressure to make plays for others which can lead him to extra turnovers.
It's nice when players get to play roles better suited for them.
agree and i'm glad that at the start of the season (even pre-harden), ty lue decided to end the experiment. i'm not someone who has a great eye for moves and all that but if you asked me i'd say he
A. doesn't do that face-up drive into the paint literally ever anymore, and
B. when he does drive the paint he is much better at guarding the ball with his body, so not purely face-up AND
C. he does it with intentions to score, and not to pass, which probably means more than any of the two factors above
so yeah, great change for him. it's not often at all that a player picks up meaningful development at this stage of their career but boy, does it mean a lot for him and this team!

Love all of these comments.
PG as less of a PG is I think what we all want. Hes not one which is fine. Its about taking a good player and making them excel in a role.
Bill Simmons had some interesting commentary after the game

This was a huge win to get without Zu. PG and Plumlee really stepped up. This four-day break is much needed.
