How many times in that game alone? I was actually surprised when Kawhi got the calls late.

There was a sequence in the 2nd half where one of our guys appeared to get hammered and then on the Sixers end of the court, Maxey is barely touched and got the call.

I watched this sequence a few times. Kawhi's block is clean. Jump ball is right call by rules. PG's defense is a foul as he is jumping at an angle and not straight up. BUT it appears the fouling contact happens as the time expires, so it actually might not be a missed call.

Watch the entire final few minutes:

Watch on YouTube

4:32 to go - Kawhi called for Phantom foul on an out of control Maxey
3:54 - Batum blasts PG on a rebound that ends up turning into a Philly basket
1:13 - Batum bumps PG on a drive (good no-call)
9.1 seconds - Maxey puts forearm into Coffey and because he is out of control, he goes to the ground, but we are called for a foul.

Sixers didn't lose because of that play at the end. They lost because Maxey was a little out of control down the stretch. He was playing too fast. Remember, Maxey tripped over himself on an easy sideline inbound that the Clips picked up and drew a foul on.

I think it was a split second before the buzzer. Got away with one.

Crew Chief Kevin Scott told pool reporter Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer that the final no-call was incorrect.

“On the last play on the floor, in real time the crew interpreted that play as the defender jumping vertically,” Scott said. “However, in post-game video review we did observe some slight drift to his left by the defender George, and a foul should have been ruled.”

Oubre apologized for his reaction.

The Sixers have no room to ever complain about the refs with Embiid on their roster. I know he's out, but he gets more than enough BS calls when he plays.
