omg c'mon...
well, Dunn's long solid run on threes ended tonight unfortunately, and Batum joined him along with Powell for most of the game. Fun effort in the 4th, but gotta be better sooner. Simple as that.
Not ideal but this is semi-danger zone and could be the series changer.
Go down 3-2 after game 5, and looking at elimination. Blown opportunity.

Re: RD 1 GAME 4: DEN (1-2) @ LAC (2-1)—SAT 4/26 3 PM, TNT
Losing this way is so demoralizing, I'm dreading the rest of the series now. I feel like they've given the Nuggets life and it's going to be a repeat of the bubble meltdown from here on out. Even if they narrowly avoid choking this series away - and it will be narrowly, in an exhausting 7-game slog - I have no faith in their ability to compete with OKC now anyway.
This is the same exact routine we have to watch play out over and over again in the playoffs every single year. And I don't think it's ever going to change until we go against our tendencies and get a real coach and a legit franchise player in the draft.

Nice comeback to tie the game. Shame it didn't go to OT.
Best of 3 now with two in Denver.

Ball was still touching his hand- how can that count? I have never been so angry watching a game. It is seriously bad for my health. Can they file an appeal?

I’d rather lost by 20 than this way. This is brutal.

This team is incapable of putting a team away. Every series in this era is always extended

Why surprised. The refs looked the other way on a lot of things. Can they send this to the league though? Wouldn’t this be a suspension?

Lob City was the exact same way. They could never handle a series lead or put an inferior team away.
Hiring terrible "players' coaches" and mortgaging the future for stars who were already past their peak failed then and it's failing now. It's the exact same formula with different names. Either try something different or one miracle WCF appearance every 50 years is all this franchise will ever be capable of.

The officiating was horrible until Nugs went up by 20.
2 questionable 3's by Kwahi late in the game. I thought he could have used his mid range..
Also why did not we have our defensive line up there for the last play?
Onto the next one.
I think the league wants a 7 game. So it's going to be 3-3 with the decider in Denver.

That's letting this team off the hook. They choked game 1 and were a complete no-show for three quarters tonight. That's not the refs or league, it's the same old Clippers. They do this **** every year in the playoffs.
At least now we know they aren't a serious contender and can adjust our expectations accordingly. Serious contenders actually put teams away in the playoffs.

Losing the game in a play like this is disheartening. The game was lost in the 3rd quarter. We needed to come out with some urgency but we totally got embarassed out there.

Since no one answered I’ll ask again. Can they send that clip of MPJ clearly leaving the bench to storm the court during the altercation to the league? That should be a suspension.

I doube MPJ gets a suspension as the league wants next game to be competitive...

This loss wasn’t on the coach c’mon. Get a new angle. The players were sloppy and deficient most of the game until the 4th. Defense was not up to their standards. It sucks but this wasn’t Lue

The rules state he should have been ejected and given a 1 game suspension.
Clippers would be dumb to not send a tape. Cuban used to do this all time. It got some good results. As Joey points out how was it missed on the reviews. You clearly see the assistant coach panic to get him back.

Yeah I thought they were just lethargic. Unfortunately it's how series are lost. One game, where u kinda just don't show up and the momentum swings. Honestly Hardens overreaction kinda felt like it sparked them. I don't blame Lue but can Batum be out there if you have one final defensive possession.
Return to Los Angeles Clippers
