I'm gonna be down for a bit, I don't see a way for us to be a championship team. Not this season, I guess it depends if Durant wants to stay with the Warriors long term.

Well now we just hope for luck, and by luck it basically now comes down to unfortunate injuries at just the right time. The issue also is less about whether the Clippers can be good and even more so about how can the Clippers even improve? We are stagnant from about 2014-2015 with this current team and possibly worse depending on how Jamal performs, how much Austin improves and how much contribution we can get from the rookies.

a couple other factors that come into play are how good blake and dj are over the next couple years. not that i see dj being a 20/20 dwight type monster but he really picked it up over the end of the season and into the playoffs. if he could tap into prime dwight impact on top of blake continuing to evolve and play at an even higher mvp level, we can still progress even further.

ahhh... I miss the yesteryears NBA where every team had an enforcer and rules allowed players to be physical. I miss the days when even a finesse player like Kareem would elbow Bird and punch Parish grabbing a rebound, and only rhe men with steely heart would dare to drive in the lane. Charles Oakley vs Dennis Rodman was enough of an entertainment and a reason to tune in to games for teams I could not care any less otherwise.

Now the Thunder's owners get a taste of what it was like for them to abandon Seattle. Golden State is on the verge of becoming a dynasty and it's weird to think that if OKC had just won 1 more playoff game in 3 chances against the Warriors, this likely would not have come to pass. Dallas now gets Golden State's hand-me-downs. Duncan is seriously considering retirement.

And by virtue of making the Warriors better and the Thunder worse, the Clippers improve in the projected standings to be 2nd in the Western Conference. It figures that such improvement would not come from Doc himself given the flatline in progress during his tenure in Lob City. Like I've said, nobody does less with more than Doc Rivers. Now we're bringing the band back together with significant salary raises minus an actual contributor in Cole Aldrich. Plus, we have to rely on our rookies and young players to take leaps in development when Doc, as previously mentioned, does not do well in progressive movement. So by doing practically nothing, Doc has improved our prospects in the regular season standings. Congrats. The problem is that he still has to put in work to advance in the postseason.

Not drink related unfortunately. Just kind of down and bleh at what was essentially "The Decision 2.0" or at least that's what I hope it will be known as. Our only hope is for CP and Blake to summon their MVP selves and play like they did in the Spurs 1st round series, and to be injury free obviously. Hopefully this motivates them.
