Re: Around the NBA II
Draymond Green screams and 1 on every play he has at the basket, who on the Clippers is the and 1 guy? Blake?
James Harden seems like he's going to get half his assists from Clint Capela, but I'm not sure if handling the ball even more is going to help him have energy for defense.
Eric Gordon looked like younger Eric Gordon, we'll see what happens later on
Zach Randolph might be looking at that 6th man of the year award with his new bench role, I actually kind of like it for Memphis. Gives them a little more mobility and spacing in the starting lineup and also gives them a nice post and scoring option with their bench units.
A lot of high scoring games, but every season everyone wants to play faster and at the start of the season everyone is all gung ho about it, then 20 games later, some teams start reverting, etc, so we'll see if the pace around the league increases as a whole.

He's gonna get crazy numbers this season, the two man game with Capela was devastating last night. Granted it was the Lakers defense, but still.
I'm so pissed off at Atlanta right now, they took both our SF in the draft and it seems they're just gonna bury them in the rotation behind Bazemore and Sefolosha

I didn't think I'd say this but I love watching the Brooklyn Nets this year. They play really hard, whip the ball around a lot, run in transition, play good defense and shoot lots of 3s. Top 5 league pass team for me so far.

so now we are becoming political. I think trump has bigger fish to fry than a bunch over payed, over hyped, whining nba players, who probably didn't even vote.

When the Clippers visit the Pistons on Friday, it'll be their last ever trip to Auburn Hills. The Pistons are about to officially announce at Noon Pacific tomorrow their move to the still-under construction Little Caesars Arena in Midtown/Downtown Detroit effective for next season. They're the last team to play in a suburban location (Auburn Hills to downtown Detroit is almost 35 miles end-to-end).

Re: Around the NBA II
Memphis Grizzlies are now 17-8 and only 0.5 game behind us without Conley, Parsons and Vince.
It's a reality that some of those names below aren't sexy but they gave Grizz a great boost, and Fizdale using them in a great way to contribute their team.
JaMychal Green :Signed a multiyear deal with Grizzlies in 2015 for league minimum
Troy Willimas :Signed 2-yr league minimum deal with Grizzlies in 2016
Andrew Harrison :Signed 3-yr/$3M deal with Girzzlies in 2016
James Ennis :Signed 2-yr/$6M deal with Grizzlies in 2016
Jarrell Martin : Drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 1st round (25th pick) of the 2015 NBA Draft.
Troy Daniels :Traded by the Charlotte Hornets to the Memphis Grizzlies for cash considerations. signed 3-yr/$10M with Grizzlies.
I having a huge envy for this team's lately management. OTOH, GM Doc also found good vets for minimum lately but that's ain't gonna change a thing since Coach Doc's royal treatment to Austin-Jamal-Pierce are still out there killing our bench. GM Doc must get to axe for past several years of trash acqusitions and I don't even have any clue how to fire Coach Doc.

Re: Around the NBA II
I just wanted to point out Tim Frazier's monster game from last night. He got a triple douple off the bench to help the Pelicans beat the Suns in OT . He had 14 points, 11 assists, and 11 rebounds.
I know I mentioned awhile back that we should have tried to sign him, but it's not like Doc would give a contract to an undrafted free agent. Anyway this is a nice follow up for him after a good game against us. Maybe we'll get Tim Frazier at some point in his NBA career.

I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Re: Around the NBA II
RIP, Fab Melo.
it's not easy coming from another country with different language and culture at age 18. it's even harder when you are the only 20 years old at your high school graduation. the college career was even more chaotic, going from the highest of the highs of winning defensive player of the year on one of the strongest basketball conferneces in the nation, then hit the rock bottom, when people came down on you for academic failure. all it was not understanding Enlgish well enough and between practices and games, and that there was little time you can spend on learning Engish first. but you still made it to the NBA as a first rounder, you still played at the highest level in the world, and you still will forever remain a part of history for Brazilian basketball world.
26 is too damn young to die but you still achieved more than many people in their entire lives. hope you and your family finds peace.

I didn't realize that AH was that far from Detroit. That'd be like the Clippers playing their games in Anaheim. Yuck.

I couldn't believe hearing about Fab Melo passing yesterday. He went way too young and I'm sorry to hear that.
