Houston won tonight, we're a half a game in front of them currently. They have a harder schedule coming up. Really hope they fumble and lose some games.

Our biggest test is this friday, we need to win this game to keep our chances of securing a tie breaker against den alive.

No it isn't. It's Beverley's system. Doc made a big show a while back of handing Beverley the playbook and telling him to run all the plays. Can't give Doc all the credit now when Beverley's doing the coaching.

Now you're being silly. Patbev is on a minutes restriction . He's not coaching from the sideline. Patbev is responsible for bringing the energy

Lou has 5 points, 4 assists, plus+21
this is what happens when you're out there with real NBAers, not G Leaguers and the back of the bench like Robinson and McGruder

Lou's a hero for keeping us afloat having to quarterback that dreck while PG and Bev were out

Jackson for McGruder has been a major shift so far. Less Lou ball will be important we have not seen the ball movement flashed with Reggie all season. If we can keep
A strong balance (limit full court passes) then the team should be able to survive full swap

Doc said in the pregame he sees Reggie getting burn as the PG with the 2nd team and relieving Lou of the responsibility. Lou's been doing a lot of stuff for us because of the injuries that are not his strengths. He's playing the 2nd most minutes of his career and is at a career high in assists. He's also at a career high in rebounds!!

I'd compare it to when your 2nd baseman has to fill in at shortstop. He does the best he can. You can't really blame him for not being Ozzie Smith. And even if his hitting falls off a bit too, it's not right to rip him. He's sacrificing for the team.

This team has simply outgrown what Trez and Lou bring to the table.

you figured that out in one game?

Difference between having to outgrown what they bring vs they've outgrown it.

PG shot the ball terribly, but just having him on the floor makes a difference. The defensive intensity is just high with all those guys on the floor, with morris and the offensive threat is there. That being said, I hope PG starts to pick up a rhythm.

I like the Clippers played angry knowing they owed Memphis from the last time they played as well as losing 3 in a row. When this team is clicking and healthy or relatively healthy, I honestly don't think there's a team that can beat them in 7

Beverley 6 points plus+3
PG 7 points minus-2

didn't do a lot, but just getting 40 combined NBA minutes out of them makes all the difference

it's just a critical mass thing

add in 43 combined quality NBA minutes from Morris and Jackson, and it's light years away from trying to fill that void with minor-league dreck like McGruder, Robinson, Mann and Walton

no defensive lapses
only 12 turnovers

Kawhi leads the first unit with 25
Trezz leads the second with 22
everybody else chips in 5 points or more

and that's how it's done baby
