Playoff game #2 - Clips "host" Mavs 6 p.m. PST TNT

i hate doc-isms but it's a make or miss league. this team hits even just a few more of some pretty easy shots and this game doesn't look so bad.

Mavs are shooting 55/46 and Clippers 37/33. Clippers defense hasn't been good, but it hasn't been attrocious. Clippers have also had good enough looks to shoot better than 37/33. So on one hand, of course you want to keep analyzing and adjusting, but on the other hand, if you miss solid looks and the opponent makes them, well...

They need to control penetration better on defense, yes, offensively, for the most part they simply need to make more of their shots. There are areas that can improve, but still simply need to make more of what they are getting.

True he's been garbage in the bubble but Reggie was shooting the lights out before the restart. Gotta play your game and settle in. It's the first half of Game 2 ffs. He needs to see what hes got--way to early to go into a third-stringer's shell. Let's see how much he an help this team.
