So tired of John Wall always killing the momentum with dumb TO and mental mistakes.

Edit: of course theres not chemistry, this team is never fully healthy.

Heard Ricky Rubio is back but he's big question mark coming back from ACL surgery.

Are you serious right now? This team wasn’t even in a chance of winning and got demolished without Wall and the bench.

Cleveland would not trade Wall for Rubio that's for sure.

I don't know what they'd want in return though

OKC , Suns , Wolves, Warriors and Jazz are all on the Clippers heels.

They need to get back to winning asap.

There's a lot of reasons for the slump they are in- injuries, poor defense, bad decisions by the coaching staff, but I just wish they could get hot from 3 for a while. That would solve a lot of the problems- Kawhi bricked every 3 he took, Batum and Morris missed wide open looks. These guys are all good shooters. It also seems inevitable that after they miss a crucial wide open 3 that the opponent comes right down and knocks one down- often from a low % shooter too

Three Losses To Nuggets ALREADY!?? FATALITY!!!

Post#69 » by Wammy Giveaway » Sat Jan 14, 2023 5:48 am

Clippers must clearly avoid Nuggets in the playoffs now. Denver have their number.

If they draw Denver in the playoffs, Clippers will automatically be swept.

The final meeting between these two is on February 26, one that Nuggets will most likely Popovich. Their final regular season match will probably be a free game for the Clippers, a false hope of sorts.

These posts, however, say otherwise:

No trade, free agent signing, or roster shuffle will work. They seem to be still haunted by the greatest collapse in NBA history. The only possible wake-up call that could work would require Clippers to destroy their image and be labelled villains. They need one of their players to get ejected from a game, and it can't be from Morris. It's gotta be a superstar like Leonard or George, or at least one of their X-factors like Mann, Kennard, Zubac or Batum. Use the ejection to make a statement, that they're fed up and need to take competition seriously as if being eliminated will force relocation. Clippers have to face their fears, no matter how bizarre their season has been.

Nah this ain't it. Even with Kawhi & PG in and out of the lineup they're just too old and in dire need of athletes on the floor. Half of these guys can't even defend. Then Lue leaving Wall in way too long while Mann and RoCo still sat on the bench. The team isn't spooked. They're simply not that good

Lue can’t be serious with these answers.

Like the Hawks game going away from Mann and RoCo.

Make it make sense.

Wall is on his last chance but it's not as if the new point guard did dick

His turnovers were still a huge issue, and I don't think it's a coincidence that his highest-scoring games come in losses.

Wall isn't the only problem, of course, but that goes without saying. It would be quicker to list what isn't a problem with this disaster of a team.

Also, I'm not buying the excuse of the Nuggets having some special mental edge in this matchup (unless we're counting superior coaching as a mental edge). It's not like we haven't won some games against them the last two seasons. This year's Clippers are just horrific and can hardly beat any opponent with a pulse. If it was just the Nuggets giving us fits, I could sort of understand the logic, but pretty much any .500+ team is whooping our ass this year. Denver isn't special in that regard.

First half was competitive. Second half , I watched Nuggets hustling every possession and playing tough defense. Clippers had too many turnovers.

Nuggets were a tier above Clippers with out Jokic.

First half was exciting but this team always forgets to win you need to bring it ALL 4 QUARTERS. Until we can minimize those awful 17 point quarters we will always struggle.

The biggest problem is our energy, to me it seems overall this team lacks urgency and chemistry. I know it's tough due to key injuries but I stand by my opinion that being overly cautious on load management and to a point constant experimenting on the rotations has hurt this team.

Regular season does matter when you are struggling to stay above .500 in the middle of January. If we make it to the playoffs we aren't going to just flip a switch and become some amazing team, these issues need to fixed now.

I think it’s plain to see that the Clippers are about as good as our record shows. All of that talk about how deep & how good we were gonna be needs to be forgotten. It was just a projection anyway.
Denver is better than us. Memphis & a bunch of other teams too.

Doesn’t mean we can’t hold them accountable or expect more. I want wins every game but getting pretty used to disappointment
