you know, sometimes you go into the 4th down by some but you're like, nah, our team's good, they can handle crunch time like nobody else, and we have a legit closer to take it home.

past years really felt like that. i mean i thought that almost every single time with chris paul. and then when we got kawhi i felt like that except x10.

but now? eh. team has no identity or heart or drive. and even if they did, they seem to have no confidence in themselves right now, and they certainly haven't found solutions on how to play winning basketball in clutch moments.

that's the kind of energy and zip this team needs right at this exact moment.

(also the kind of energy and zip we might get for the next 5 minutes before morris and paul george do their usual thing and evaporate it).

if clips wanna win this game they have to hope they build a monster lead before the inevitable happens, imo
