Fantastic win.. everyone stepped up, and showed what they can do

Covington should never not play again!

I like the win and I liked the ball movement. Lots of sloppy play though. The shots falling hid some of that though. RoCo's 3 at the end was a poor decision, but it went in tonight.

I was most impressed with all the turnovers we were generating at the end. Not turning then into points on the other end is one thing they have to clean up (e.g. careless passes).

Knowing Lue, he probably thinks RoCo's performance was a tribute to Mook, so Mook deserves more minutes when he gets back because the team loves him so much!

Gotta hand it to Russ he was our captain tonight and he played like one.

Roco will probably never shoot 7-7 from 3s again, but he made Ty Belichick looked like a fool.

Another very solid game from Bones.

RoCo..... :) :) :) :)
Lue is a moron. Wasted the damn season away. And yes, I have no doubt that has he given consistent minutes to RoCo this would be a much much better season.

Remind me again how Lue's not fired yet for possibly tanking our season with his Morris obsession?

Big win by the team. Enjoyed the energy this game. Russ was amazing. Glad to see him thriving here, I was really worried about bringing him in but he's been everything the Clippers have asked him to be and has clearly bought in.

Always said he'll get his chance. Whether he cracks the rotation is another question. Frankly, Bones has thrown his hat into the ring too. 20-6-5 with only 1 TO is damn impressive. Mann didn't produce a lot [11-2-3 in 35 minutes] but his plus+18 jumps off the page. He's at his best in scatterass games like this.

[Gordon was minus-6 and Batum was minus-8, the only Clippers in the minus, but track meets are not their kind of game.]

Wow what a f*cking win!! God bless Russell Westbrook and his family. What a performance. 4-RoCo, Ty what were you thinking having this man glued to the bench. Bones future is bright asf!! Good backup performances from the rest of the team. Big chance to get Memphis again on Friday and hopefully with Kawhi back. Just adding Kawhi or PG to this bunch should give us a crazy push finishing off the season and heading into the post season. Russ won't shoot like this from three consistently of course but still his tenacity, pace, control, decision making, shot selection, and assists were elite. Is this the Russ we're going to get moving forward?

12 Seasons!

Post#73 » by Wammy Giveaway » Thu Mar 30, 2023 3:06 am

Clippers now have twelve winning seasons since the 2012 NBA Lockout Season. They are guaranteed a .500 record or greater.

That means a lot to me after almost unbroken misery from 1984-2012. TWO winning seasons and a .500.

I still want 42 though.

This type of success could also be a double-edged sword. This just means that a streak of winning seasons hasn’t given us a chance at lottery picks. Of course, unless you pull a miracle trade. It’s a rarity nowadays to have a winning team with a lottery pick.

Our last two lottery pick was Al-Farouq Aminu in 2010. But obviously, Blake and EJ were the last ones that panned out.

Aw-Ful instead of Paul George one of the worst choices ever

Or Klay

EDIT: Klay was 2011. My bad.

But we could’ve also had Gordon Hayward in 2010.

Not to slight our missing stars but that was the best 'leadership-take charge role performance' I've seen from a player on our team probably since a really good CP3 or Blake performance
