I doubt the NBA will do anything about it but that is obviously something that should be addressed. It's bad enough that a player's agent demands a trade but for them to dictate where to go while actively sabotaging whatever leverage a team would have in terms of trying to create a bidding war in order to maximize a return in preferred assets is objectionable. And then to have to pay them a bonus on top of that is just ridiculous when such a clause was put in with the intention of alleviating whatever grief and inconvenience the player would go through in being traded without his consent. Hopefully, teams will be smarter to include language that would nullify such bonuses in such cases of active insubordination.
