The turnovers have also been a problem, Rondo hasn't had the best ball protection game, in fact, it's been pretty bad.

The turnovers are the issue. Kawhi has virtually the same amount of points as our other 3 top scorers. He's not the issue whatsoever.

Kawhi can't play like this. He's not helping at all. ball stopper.

You're right he should just aimlessly chuck the ball and cause turnovers that lead to easy baskets :o

This is his former coach, of course he knows how to play him perfectly.

It's called BBIQ. Ball stopper? Really

Huh? Cousins has been fine, we have no other options anyway with Zu doing nothing offensively and no other options unlike last year.

Rondo's been really bad but at least he's playing defense. TMann would have better this game smh

Cousins defense is not there, he's made some nice plays in terms of finishing, but the defense and turnovers haven't been so good for him in this one. Rondo has done well defensively, made some nice passes, but the 6 turnovers (only really count 5 since one was turned right back over) have been problematic.

Cousins minus-11
Rondo minus-12
Batum minus-11

everyone else about even or in the plus

if your eye test didn't already know that you know nothing about basketball ;-)

And he's done some fantastic rebounding and offense for us in limited minutes. He's not the issue, especially with no other options. We cannot logically play Zu w some of these lineups we have where the offense is such an enormous issue.
The reason Zu isn't playing in those lineups is not because of offense, it's simply because he can't play the whole game and needs to have time for rest.

I have no issue with Lue playing Cousins, his other option is Patterson, he has to choose one. Zu has to get rest, he can't play excessive consecutive minutes or play the whole game. He's on pace for about 31 minutes in this game, so he really couldn't have played more. That doesn't mean Cousins had a good game, the lineups with him were bleeding points, it wasn't his "fault" as 5 players play, but he didn't help.

Too many egos not enough leadership.

People thought it was Trez and Lou but watching this season don't think that's the case..

Now that's what we need to see from PG in the clutch! Good stuff.

Siakam's second half of the game has been a lot less stellar, that's for sure, glad he missed one

Of course it's rest, but there's no denying he's just no a very good offensive player.

And are we going to get on Zu for the play just now at 1:50? I'm not but that's how it seems people are looking at Demarcus today, ironically reminds me of the ol Trez vs. Zu arguments from last year

I'd put way more blame on Batum and Rondo for this game, just bc his plus minus says they are "the same" doesn't mean anything to me.

Not the best game for him, the Raptors have contained him pretty well, just forced him into a turnover. Good job by PG getting the charge.

Great end to the game for PG! This is how he has to do it ALL the time.. or at least in every 4 out of 5 games, not the reverse.

I'm not really looking to blame any specific player, they had some tough lineups, there were different things that contributed to their struggle. Rondo turned it over too much even though he had nice passes and defended well. Cousins had too many turnovers and his defense was not so good, even though he's rebounded well and finished his opportunities well. Batum has been fine, he's just had a tough night with his 3PT shots.

Reggie Jackson making some big shots in the closing moments
