This image was posted on another Clipper board by devin112. Some of you may be familiar with him. The image was found on E-Bay, so there was some skepticism on the validity. Another poster by the name of badnewsbarnes said that the "new" logo is going to be our actual logo for the upcoming season.

According to him, the launch date for the "new" logo will be Thursday, June 24th aka the date of the 2010 NBA Draft.

The launch date for our new home and road uniforms will be August 15th.

Ralph said that we'd have some minor tweaks to our logo. He wasn't lying

Here's our "old"/current logo for comparison.



Basically there was an adjustment or should I say, a minor tweak of the seams and an extension of the lines that border our team name.

Honestly, wouldn't have noticed the changes if you didn't point them out.

Slightly off topic, but i hope they use the alternate blue away jerseys more, my favorite of the bunch by far.

The poster didn't really mention the alternates, but I'm going to assume that the team will continue to use them like we did this past season. Weekend Blues. I've always liked the look, but hated that we always lost in them (even we were winning). This season, we started off pretty well in them and finished with a better winning percentage in them than our reds. So I'm no longer against us wearing them.

Well you'd think after all those years the ball would finally rotate a bit with the speed its going at. Seems kinda pointless. And yes the blue jerseys are totally rad.

Oh hey you play FFXI recently? I use played that on and off for around 4-5 years. I left it about a year ago.

Yea i used to play it, quit awhile back though, couple years now. Shantotto is the best

I should have checked here quicker. I thought our new logo would be totally different, and it's basically the same thing. I also noticed that the Clipper website got a new make over as well. So I guess the Clipper want to make some things more appealing to the fans. Still this new logo is basically the same.

The newer logo actually looks better imo. And if we are FINALLY getting new jerseys, I can't wait to see them.

LOL Donal Sterling should design our next logo.

Anyone who lives in LA and has seen his ads/eyesores in the newspaper will know what I mean...

Sharing the same home as the Lakers, it really does not matter what the clips do. The clips need to move to the OC and have there own place and own fans. Little brother to the champs will never step out of the shadows.

If you would like to discuss the Lakers, then you're more than welcome to click on the forum just below this one. Nobody's talking about the Lakers here so there's no need to bring them up nor is there a need to troll. Use better judgment next time.

Dont know if i like those ones ^^^ but im looking forward to seeing our new ones if those aren't it.

I also noticed the copyright from 2004, it was probably just what some person designed. I kinda like the logo but we need to keep our red, white, and blue colors.

Our team is named after the Clippers ships in San Diego, at least I think that's what happened. But clippers are ships and that's what we are

It was a little of a letdown for me at first, but I actually do like it. Ralph said it was going to be a very minor tweak and that is exactly what it is. I'm much more interested in what our new uniforms will look like. He said that we'd keep the same colors, but that the change would be an actual change as opposed to a tweak.

It will be cool to see some new looking uniforms, I wonder when we'll get to see.
