I was thinking the exact same thing. He can easily average a 20-10 be become ROY.

bickety-bam. Since he's a rookie and all, I've been curious where he ranks among this year's draft class. Hopefully everything the article says hold true.

I look at the pre-season for the things that could have been this year.
Over all record was 8-2 , Lakers were also 8-2 for example. I'm not saying they would have won as many games as the Lakers But most teams with good pre - season translated into a winning season.
Blake was pretty beasty in that time frame. He rebounded well; played with energy, scored off of put backs , Iso's ,lobs, and nasty posterizing dunks.
I think the team Morale was high and Clippers looked like a play off type team.
Even going into the All Star break, LA was hovering around .500 - But eventually fell apart after the trades,BG not coming back , the coach step down and nothing to play for . (Technically their pay checks but thats another story)
It will be an interesting 2010-2011 season for sure. BG will have my vote. If LA can have a decent season ( 40 wins or more ) and BG plays to his capacity, He has a great shot at ROY.

I hope he can, he has had a small taste for NBA basketball since he played in the summer league and pre season. That would be great if he can win Rookie of the Year

I think Wall will get it. Assuming NJ drafts him, he will be able to stat-whore like no other on that team since its so devoid of talent. SOMEONE has to put up stats on that team, and more likely than not it will be wall, with lopez as a 2nd option.
Blake will have to contest with kaman/gordon/baron for shot attempts, so his scoring potential won't be as high. He could feasbly avg 10+ rebounds, but then again, ROY usually comes down to who scores the most.

I think that Blake will have a better opportunity to win it this year than the previous year. The primary reason being that the starting 4 spot is his. Last year he would have had to play behind Camby who would have likely stolen minutes as well as rebounds. Our rebounding has been pathetic at times and Blake will be able to come in and gobble up quite a few. Blake may not be the scorer (due to Kaman, Baron & EJ getting their shots) that some of the competition are, but they will also have to contend with shots and touches as well with players like Arenas, Blatche, Iguodala, Brand & Williams.
The best thing he could do really lies in the intangibles department. If his presence contributes to victories, then he is already in the conversation. Although, Brandon Jennings has shown that it will take more than that.

Unless Wall does something incredibly stupid a la Jay Williams, there's no way he's going to New Jersey. He'll end up in Washington.

It'll be interesting. I agree with mkwest, he's got a better chance to win it this year than last year. Playing behind Camby, plus the way that Tyreke Evans put up huge numbers probably would've resulted in the same ROY, Evans.
This year, Blake will be starting, play big minutes (hopefully), and with Wall probably going to the WIzards, he won't be the first option as long as Arenas is playing (is he even allowed to play?). It'll be close, but I'm hoping Blake will come out with guns blazing and take the ROY award.

Ah had a brain fart, wiz got first pick which i forgot about. Its pretty much the same situation though as their primary option right now is andrey blatche... who looked like an absolute beast once the team was gutted of talent. Someone on a bad team has to put up the stats and wall will take on that role once he joins them.

If Griffin were re-listed into the 2010 Draft, even with the injury, he would eclipse Wall as the No. 1 prospect
no, but he's got the inside track for ROY for sure

Maybe its just me but their is something about Wall and I don't know what it is but honestly don't think he will get anywhere near the level of Rose or even Deron Williams. Sounds crazy but not a big fan of his.
