I don't know how many of you are awake but I just watched Clipper Darrell on ESPN 2. I'm glad that it got promoted on ESPN. I have said this before and I wish I was in LA on this day to rally at the parade this afternoon. Hopefully all of you that can make it go there and give Darrell and the Clippers our support.

A group of Clippers fans took to the streets outside of the Staples Center on Thursday to show their love for LeBron James.

At least 75 fans in Clippers gear waved signs and chanted as they marched near the arena in the hours before Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals between the Suns and Lakers.

They chanted "We want the King!" and "L-B-J!"

The Clippers are among a handful of teams with enough salary cap room to sign James. They also have a strong supporting cast and a major media market in L.A.

A fan organized the march through the social networking site Facebook.

very nice turn out IMO. :wordyo:

btw it was more like 100+ ppl not 75. Also, keep in mind that several folks couldn't get off work that early on a Thursday. :sigh:

Yeah, I figured that some people were probably busy and it was early. I was hoping that it was more than 75 people, but I only went off of what I heard. Damn, I really wish I could have been there...........

It's great that you made it MJ.

I would have loved to have gone, but I was working. I thought there would have been more ppl, but at the end of the day it wasn't a bad turnout. Everybody that showed up took time out of their day to be a part of it. It was an awkward time being on a Thursday at 3pm with people working or in school, but it was the best way to optimize media attention. For a fan organized event on facebook, it was a great thing.
