Thom T. is in the finals and these idiots are giving him a deadline ? Seriously? I'll gladly wait two more weeks for one of the best defenses coaches in the league.

I didn't think it was a wise move on their part either. I would love to have him, but I think the Bulls would have to do something to piss him off as well for that to happen.

If I were Sterling I'd consider Mike Woodson and see if Joe Johnson can be had. Woodson never had the parts the Clippers have in place. A lineup of:
Baron Davis
Eric Gordon
Joe Johnson
Blake Griffin
Chris Kamen
Is potent. With Jordan, Gooden, Smith, Butler and Blake on the bench. I see playoffs.

I don't think many people here understand that if we sign a max FA, using most of our cap space, we will not have enough cap space left to resign all of our own FAs, such as Gooden, Rhino, Butler, Blake. In order to create all this cap space, we will have to renounce the rights to all of our own FAs, and we will only be able to sign FAs to minimum salaries if after we use all of our cap space. We also will not have our MLE this year, since we will have cap space.

that's okay. I'd rather even have Joe Johnson and Woodson than those guys.
