What do you see the Clippers Depth Chart looking like on Opening day?

At this point I guess it's...

PG: Davis / Bledsoe
SG: Gordon / Foye / Warren
SF: Gomes / Aminu
PF: Griffin / Sofo / Cook
C: Kaman / Jordan

Foye may backup Baron instead, Sofo and Jordan may be interchangeable, and I really have no clue who should start at SF. Gomes due to experience I guess..

Some of this doesn't make sense to me though. If we're going to get better player at SF then what's the Gomes' signing for? Are we benching Aminu? He can supposedly play PF, but then what do we do with Sofo? Is Jordan heading to the bench now?

I am a Bucks fan, but wanted to let you know that your roster is sick. If I were LeBron I would have signed with the LAC because Griffin IMHO is a top 20 guy already. He is Dwight Howard with a handle and a jump shot. By the end of 10/11, he will win ROY and be considered an all star lock for 10 years. He is one of the truly trancendant players in the association.

PLEASE don't let Gomes be our starter.

I'm with you 100 brother. I'd rather Prince, deng or Harrington take that spot.

^ I'd love Prince but no way I would want Al Harrington under any circumstances.

He can play SF & PF. Aminu should be ready to start for us the season after next.

Also, I hope Foye gets more burn @ PG than SG. Gordon needs all those min with Warren picking up the occasional slack if he even makes the team. :sigh:

Harrington has gotten us a few wins already.

I would much rather get Ronnie Brewer, Dorell Wright, RJ, Rasual, Wes Matthews, Roger Mason, Ime Udoka, Jarvis Hayes, or even bring back Bobby Simmons before signing Harrington. Actually, I wouldn't mind signing T-Mac for a year or two to see if he has anything left.

Maybe they signed Gomes as someone temporary until Aminu finds his play in the NBA. And if Griffin lives up to being the number 1 pick, all we need in that 3 spot is a solid all around SF, nothing special.

CE: Chris Kaman | DeAndre Jordan | Theo Ratliff (solid veteran C who can help Jordan with shot blocking)
PF: Blake Griffin | Sofoklis Schorsianitis | Brian Cook
SF: Ryan Gomes | Al-Farouq Aminu | Nik Caner-Medley (Impressed last year, should again)
SG: Eric Gordon | Rasual Butler
PG: Baron Davis | Randy Foye | Eric Bledsoe

I don't think Warren will be signed this year, but believe Olshey will let him play in the D-League and keep his rights.

Think that'll be our roster going into the season, if not Ratliff, some veteran Center.

I dont think Rasual Butler is gunna come back. He'll probably go and get his money and/or play for a contender who needs his shooting.

PG. Baron Davis/Randy Foye/Eric Bledsoe
SG. Eric Gordon/Willie Warren
SF. Ryan Gomes/AL Farouq Aminu/Nick Caner-Medley
PF. Blake Griffin/Craig Smith/Brian Cook
C. Chris Kaman/Deandre Jordan/Sofoklis Schorsianitis

thats on hopefully Craig Smith comes back

I'd like to see Craig back, but I see no reason why we'd pay Sofo 3-5M a year to be a 3rd string backup. I really don't know what's up with Rasual, Lisa Dillman actually asked him on twitter what he plans on doing. I don't think she's received a response yet.

See looking at some of these charts our depth actually looks pretty decent. None of know how good AFA, Bledsoe, and even Griffin after coming back from an injury are going to go. If they all suprise us (probably not Griffin cause pretty sure he'll be just as solid as everyone wants him to be) then our team will be pretty good imo.

Then again, if they don't and guys like Gomes and Foye struggle then it could be another dissapointing year for Clippers fans. I still would like us to go after a SF that we know will make a difference, that'll please me.
