I only am trying to gauge how the Clipper fans feel they are as a franchise and what players they wouldn't trade and which potition you are strong at and which you are weak. if it is not to much to ask.

You don't have to be a clipper fan to know that they would like to get rid of Baron Davis's contract. Improve their small forward spot as well with a star maybe they can acquire in a trade. Maybe they should take a chance on Josh Howard he still is a free agent. He was an all-star, and he didn't play bad just injured.

I think the only untouchable player is Blake Griffin. Obviously, some players (Eric Gordon, Kaman) would require a very good return.

Howard=Thornton=Maggette=Gay.

Gomes suits our needs much better.

I agree with this.. I would give up EJ for a player like Chris Paul, so he's definitely not "untouchable," but there's really not much that I would give up Griffin for.

There is no player on the roster that I would deem as untouchable, that is including Blake Griffin as well. But when it comes to realistic expectations on a return, I wouldn't trade Blake, Eric, Baron (due to his real low value) nor Kaman. Our weakest point still is the small forward one, even though it is our deepest (Aminu, Butler, Gomes, Blakely, Cook all can play there, Griffin might be able to as well).

Gomes is a role player at best. He put double digit points in Minnesota on a losing club and with Boston when they were a losing club. Al Thornton isn't as a good as Corey Maggette,Rudy Gay,Josh Howard. Josh Howard did make an all-star very recently, he signed back with the Wizards anyways. I think he has something left in the tank, and no I disagree Gomes should not be a starter on the Clippers if you guys want to win.

The others are role players too, if you want to win. The trouble is...they all think they're stars. Howard was an all star but might actually have been the worst player since Magloire. And Magloire made the team deservingly so. Howard really isnt a good player. He and Thornton deserve each other in Washington.

Gomes is a role player and that's exactly what we needed at sf. Him or Corey Brewer are fine choices. Gomes can hit the outside shot, rebound, defend and will not make dumb plays unlike the rest listed. Thornton isnt as 'good' as Maggs, Gay, Howard because he didn't get free reign to shoot whenever he felt like shooting.
