50-50 chance i think, although i'm somewhat optimistic. Powershift is definitely heading east, along with the traditional top west teams continuing to age. On the other hand, some of the younger teams on the rise could easily just replace them like okc, and por.
Really depends on the health of the team, last few seasons have been ridiculously marred by injuries. I'd like to see the team play intact for the majority of the season at least.

I come into every season thinking that we have a chance to make the playoffs. It depends on how the team will respond to our new coach, I really do hope that we can make the playoffs this year.

I don't think so, but to me that is less important that laying some real groundwork for the future. By that I mean the rookies showing at least flashes of future quality NBA play, the team playing hard and hustling at both ends of the floor, and developing some semblance of cohesion/teamwork at the offensive end. I don't mind giving the rookies a bit more time in order to get them up to speed faster, even if means more losses at the beginning.
If they can do those things, the playoffs will take care of themselves, whether this year or later.

I think Gordon, Griffin, and Kaman has a great chance to land a 7th or 8th seed .
Possibly higher in the standings as based on their development.
Staying healthy is the main concern.
I don't see the Jazz or the Suns making it in the playoffs this upcoming season.

As much as I'd like to say yes, I don't think we will. I think we have the talent to contend for a spot, but we've had enough talent the last couple of years, something else has been missing. We have a tough schedule out of the gate, and with the new coaching staff, we could get off to a slow start-----and then it snowballs? We'd have to go from 29 wins to about 46, probably too much to ask of from a team with our history. VDN did manage to squeeze 41 wins out of that Chi team, but don't know if he can do the same in the west. If no playoffs this year, I'd settle for improved play and a reason to be optimistic going into the future.

I don't think the Clippers will make the playoffs. The guys at Hoops World are total homers for the Clippers since they get media access to Staples Center because of them. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the Clippers end up last in our division, it's a pretty good division.
Lakers > Clippers
Suns > Clippers
Warriors = Clippers
Kings = Clippers
I'm not optimistic at all. I wanted Vinny Del Negro to take over the team but when I found out the Clippers front office wanted Dwane Casey and Sterling went with VDN anyways, I was highly dissapointed.

It's really hard to say right now. Health & chemistry are obviously huge factors. How much will Blake tangibly and intangibly bring to the table this season? If players are healthy and gelling, then Baron's attitude is likely positive. If the team gets off to a good start, then they'll still be trying in the latter parts of the season as opposed to the past few years.
I didn't consider us a 29 win team last season. We blew a lot of games early on without Blake that should have/could have been wins and then gave up after it was announced that he was done for the season. Had the team given full effort the full way through, the win total would have looked quite a bit better.
This year's team will miss Camby's model citizen presence in the locker room. All of the players respected him. Losing that veteran leadership can and will hurt to an extent. Blake's attitude should be contagious though, or at least I hope. We have a lot of young players, but thankfully we have more experienced players that will complete the rotation while the youngsters learn and earn playing time. That will keep them more hungry for opportunities as opposed to being given the keys right away.
Playoffs are definitely a possibility, but it will take our key guys stepping up, our coaching staff successfully getting the team to play "the right way" and will probably require a little outside assistance.

Idk about you guys... but for me Griffin will put this team at the top...
This team have one of the best frontcourt in the NBA IMO...
Pick and Roll with Baron and Griffin will be deadly
