Hopefully Aminu continues his stellar play off the bench. Also, I really wish E-Bled and Warren were active especially for this game. :sigh:

I was thinking we were a high chance but didn't realise Baron, Kaman, Bledsoe, Warren were all out. I'd be very impressed if we one this one. Warriors have their best players in. Why would Butler start over Gordon though?

Griffin off to another nice start. 7 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists as the Clippers trail 21-22. Unfortunately, he's 2-8 from the charity stripe.

EJ playing some point. Aminu playing some 2.

Aminu with a mid-court steal, he takes it to the hoop for the slam and 1. Clippers take 41-40 lead.

66-57 Warriors at the half. Nice games from Gordon, Griffin & Aminu. Blake and the rest of the team need to hit their free-throw shots though. He is 3 of 10, the rest of the team is 6 for 11.

Blake has 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal & 1 block.
Gordon has 14 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists & 1 steal.
Aminu has 8 points, 4 rebounds & 1 steal.

40 point loss. I'm not too concerned. I was more concerned after the Portland loss oddly enough. It's only preseason. They're at home with their starters who all played very well, and we were without 2 of ours. They were lights out as a result of just being hot, poor defense on our part or a combination of the 2. Blake played well (23 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals & 1 block), drew a few charges. Gordon put up 18 points and was decent from behind the arc (3-8), but not his usual efficient self, and Aminu has had another decent game with double digit scoring and a couple of 3-balls. Nobody else aside from the true star of the team (Brian Cook) did much of anything. Our guys have 3 days off to rest from the 3 games in 4 days, plus get in a couple of practices. Then we'll actually be able to see them play. I'm really looking forward to that. Hopefully Baron and Warren will be ready to roll by then.
