Game #33: Clippers(10-22) vs. Jazz(21-10)

by Det the Threat
After beating the Sacramento Kings for the third straight time this season, the Clippers have won five of their last six games and gone 9-9 over the last 18.
Leading that charge have been shooting guard Eric Gordon and rookie power forward Blake Griffin, who seem to be two great building blocks for the young and upcoming Clippers.

Tonight they'll play the Utah Jazz, who're led by MVP candidate Deron Williams and Hall of Fame coach Jerry Sloan.

Because of this the Clippers will need to bring their A game, reduce their turnovers and are in need of others, besides Griffin and Gordon, to step up. If they do, they could end the month of December with a winning record.

Injury report:

The Clippers will be without: Chris Kaman, Craig Smith, Brian Cook

When and Where?
Wednesday, December 29th, 7:30 p.m. PT, Staples Center, Los Angeles, California

5 Questions:
Will Baron be able to keep up with D-Will?
Can DJ keep up his solid play against that Jazz fronline?
Who will bring energy and points off the bench?
Which Jazz player will get dunked on by Blake?
Will we be able to overcome that coaching matchup between the Hall of Famer and Vinny?

Discuss and Go Clips Go!!!

This one will be tough. Can't play like we did against the Kings and expect to win.....this will surely be a test! Let's go Clips!

Have fun clipperfan4life :)

I've read that Kirilenko is out and that CJ Miles is a game time decision. I want to see us continue to roll. Had that Houston game gone our way down the stretch, we'd be on a 6 game winning streak. Confidence is up and the team has a chance to move up if they keep fighting. I'm not trying to jump the gun or anything, but the season is far from over.

It looks like Aminu & Hayward will be the starting small forwards tonight.

Miles not expected to play.

Should be tough to beat this team, HOWEVER, there was nothing in the last two games that these two teams played that would lead me to believe that the Clippers can't win.

I think it was a last second decision. Yahoo boxscore had Aminu in about 25 mins before the game.

Millsap has 2.

That looked like it was off of us, but probably a make up call for the last out of bounds call.

Got the early lead, we just need to come up with the loose balls

Utah Yazz are keeping the door wide open for us, but we are NOT capitalizing. Gotta secure rebounds, and not knock the ball out of bounds.
