Blake Griffin's role in the All-Star game?

Just looked at some fresh numbers, and was very glad to see Griffin move ahead of Nowitzki, as far as All-Star votes (I'm sure much of this has to do with his injury). Due to his popularity in regards to voting, I see no way he doesn't make the All-Star game. How do you think he will perform going up against the elite of the elite? I just can't imagine the kind of alley-oops he'll be getting from CP3, Deron, etc.

Uhhhh have you watched an all star game before? Its not like anyone tries to play defense. He will be fine; everyone that plays in it does fine. It's not exactly a real test of skill or anything, just a fun game. I'm pretty sure if he actually gets into the all star game, all the west PG's will try to top themselves feeding him lobs.

I would love to see Blake (and Kevin Love for that matter) get the opportunity to play in the big game. I personally feel that there are not too many players that are playing better than him right now from and individual standpoint. Ultimately, it's up to the coaches and/or Stern to put him into the game. I will say that there is a strong chance that Stern picks him as an alternate for any player that is injured if the coaches do not select him.

It could totally be a Blake Griffin Weekend.
