EJ out 3-4 few weeks (bone chip in right wrist)

Eric Gordon may have torn wrist ligaments and will be out at least 2-3 weeks according to early reports.

NBA.com writer Art Garcia, who has an excellent reputation, says this is the early word and that he should be out past the All Star break. Either way, he has about a 0.01% chance of playing Tuesday so get him out of your lineups. For his owners, this is probably a blessing in disguise, since if he tried to play through the injury it was invariably going to hurt his game and get worse at the same time. We'll update you as we get further confirmation.

So frustrating, but completely expected, especially when you saw it happen. This really could not have happened at a worse time, since we've been playing so well, and actually have playoff light at the end of the tunnel.

With Gordon out we have to get big scoring games from Gomes and the bench. Gomes has to drop 20pts just to have a chance.

:(

If he needs to sit out, then he should out and let it heal. It's obviously a huge blow the team with him being the leading scorer, closer and one of our best players on both sides of the ball. It does give the the other guys the opportunity to step up and make their minutes count, they can't rely on EJ to bail them out if they hit a scoring lull. Sual obviously benefits from just being able to get off of the bench, but Foye has to bring it and Willie has to be read if his number is called. Baron has been a great distributor, but we're going to have to call on him to attack the basket more.

I have to give EJ credit for trying to play through the injuries the best he could. He didn't even shy from contact, which was the most surprising thing to me. Hope he gets well quick and hope to see him back out on the court soon.

:sigh:

I was hoping he would be able to play once the team got back to LA. So much for that :(
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Eric Gordon will miss the next 3-4 weeks with a sprained right wrist and a bone chip. #Clippers

Just got more info from the team re Eric Gordon: Sprained right wrist/small bone chip fracture. Not a torn ligament. Still out 3-4 wks.

The bone chip fracture is the new news, but it's good that there there is no ligament damage.

Sorry to be a pessimist, but this season is over. Is Kaman coming back anytime soon?

And there goes our season... :(

Let's give the younger guys more minutes and hope that Kaman comes back so we might be able to trade him for something good.

Definitely a tough loss, especially since I thought yesterday should have been a win, if not the poor free-throw shooting and turnovers.

I was shocked when I read that he is going to be out that long, although I was kinda afraid of something like this, since that fall looked pretty tough. Terrible news nevertheless.

Now is the time to do a trade, we still have hope for the playoffs. Players we could target:
1. Carmelo-25ppg
2. Granger-20 ppg
3. Crawford-even if he is just a rental
4. S. Jackson-still good for 17-18 ppg
5. Prince-13-14 ppg

That last thing we need to do right now is make a trade to try to get in the playoffs, when we are still behind what (4 teams) and need to win 30 games from here on out to get in.

Olshey will continue to build towards the future, much like Presti is doing in OKC. There is no need to salvage young talent like Bledsoe or Aminu, in an attempt to make a nearly impossible playoff run this season.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.
