Hello Lisa, you think Kaman is ready to come off the bench and understand that DJ is a better fit in the starting rotation?

Lisa Dillman:
Yes, I do. We asked him that question and he seemed to understand that would be the case, early on. I also think Chris genuinely wants to stay in LA. His wife recently started a new job here and he has a fair amount of business interests in town

How do you find Blake Griffin to deal with? He seems like a decent sort of person. Is that the great hope of this squad? Baron excepted, pretty enthusiastic committed bunch of young guys?

Lisa Dillman:
Have to say I was really charmed by Blake's reaction when we told him that Shaq and LeBron were tweeting about him during the T-giving game. He actually blushed. He really seemed like a college kid at that moment. Of course he could be a college kid. The team is really quite young, and goofy, in a funny way. One of the coaches told me they were watching cartoons on the plane. Another one told me that one of the players ordered strawberry milk the other day. he didn't tell me which one. Will have to get my investigative skills going there! DeAndre Jordan ... a Spongebob fan. Need I say more? And then there's Eric Bledsoe eating popcorn before games. Have been teasing him about that. Guess that's better than Al Thornton, who used to down a Big Mac before games.

Can you give us your thoughts on VDN and how deals with and teaches the guys. Do they like and respect him? Is he a good coach in your opinion?

Lisa Dillman:
VDN likely earned some respect when he pretty much called out Baron Davis in training camp when BD did not show up in great shape. One VDN trend is that teams get better under his watch as the season progresses. That may be tested now that Eric Gordon is out. Clips have lost all four games Gordon has missed this season, btw

i remember i made a thread asking if blake should be the number 1 option off the bat this year. quite a few people disagreed with me. actually everyone in favor of running the offense through kaman......but thats fine i think everyone has forgotten about kaman i would trade him to be honest ike is doing a fine job IMO.

Kaman? Who?

Kaman was the number 1 option the past couple of years out of necessity, but that's not what we need him to be if we want to be successful. Griffin has progressed much faster than most would have ever imagined. The GB had some ridiculously low expectations for him that are laughable at this point. I was expecting around 16-17 points, 11 rebounds & 2.5 assists. I'm glad my expectations were low as well. If the full team was healthy, would his numbers be where they are right now? Maybe, but probably a little lower. Still, it's great to see that he is capable of being our primary option. This is with being 62% foul shooter and shaky jump shooter. I can't wait until he makes those weaknesses become strengths. He's already taken huge strides in those already. An offseason of training and fine-tuning is going to do him a world of good.

He along with Gordon serve as 1A/1B punch and I'm glad to see that they took reins of this team away from the veterans. In the past, it seemed that Baron would freeze out Gordon and limit him. This season, he's our leading scorer. Gordon and Griffin are the future and they're the two that ordered a player only meeting that has sparked this run that we are on. I couldn't be happier with how things have turned out with the two of them.
