Last night's Twitter drama

Rookie guard Willie Warren, who was not active against the Kings, let his feelings be known first after Monday night's loss.
@Dagr8113: ive came to the point where I jus wanna go to school and live a normal life..this must not b for me cause this is ridic...cant take it.
He quickly removed the tweet, but on-the-ball Clippers fans spotted the message and it was retweeted by a couple of reporters in the press room after deadline. Maybe Warren got the word he was going back to Bakersfield of the D-League.
The affable, easy-going DeAndre Jordan did some lashing out, via Twitter, as well. He struggled against the Kings with six points as he made only two of six free throws, missing all four in the fourth quarter.
Shortly before the Clippers took off for their plane ride back to Los Angeles, Jordan tweeted this:
@deandrejordan: they love you when you're up and hate you when you're down...i really don't care. i don't play for you...
Lisa Dillman,
LA Times/The Fabulous Forum
It was strange to see these tweets both being posted last night. It seemed like Willie isn't ready to handle the NBA lifestyle. I'm sure that DJ probably got some hecklers for missing 4 crucial foul shots, but you can't really expect much from him after shooting below 50% for the season.

I actually see both guys points.
To say I wasn't pissed at DeAndre for missing those 4 FT's is a lie, did it wreck my day,NO. DeAndre has played over his head all year, one 3 minute stretch is not a big deal.
I love the fact that DeAndre was so emotional about it, I say we resign him now!!
Willie Warren has seamed to be the odd guy many times in Del Negro's rotations, I think he is in our future. I get the fact that our guards played like crap & his # wasn't being called, that is a competitor!
I like that both guys showed frustration, thanks guys; this is the new mentality in CLIPPER NATION!!!!!

Willie Warren has handled his career poorly, between choosing to enter the draft a year late and acting up at OU last year. I'm not surprised he's that fed up to be honest.

I honestly don't think Warren is going to ever have an impact on our team, or on any team in the NBA. Looks like another player who could end up in the Euroleague.
Not sure what the DJ tweet is referencing... he should know that Clippers fans are appreciative of his efforts, and we weren't expecting him to make those free throws in the first place.

I think Willie has to mature a little bit. He was taken at the end of the draft, most players taken in that position are lucky to even be with a team. Let alone actually get playing time. Willie has to keep working hard and wait for his time to come. I kind of sucks that Del Negro has weird substitution patterns, so you never know when you'll get your time to play. If it turns out Willie is really unhappy or just not ready for the NBA he can always leave after the season is over.
I have to say I wasn't that surprised or upset that DJ missed all 4 of those free throws. We know he's not a great shooter, he had a lot of pressure on him, and he missed them. I was hoping that he would hit at least one, but not much we can do at this point. I hope he will be motivated to work on his free throws this off season.

I think DJ was referring to the fact that he doesn't play for the people who don't appreciate him. If not, it would be pretty disappointing (i.e. I only play for myself, and for the money).

Warren is not an NBA caliber player. We only drafted him because there was no one worthy in the dratf at that point and he was good friends with Blake. Unfortunately though, you can't make a team with just friends.
