Clipper Nation knew we got a great player on Draft Nite 2 years ago, I wonder if we knew we drafted a Great person too? Griffin who attended OU b/c his older brother played basketball & b/c Coach Capel recruited him and guided him through his college career.
Griffin never one to shake the coconuts from the tree sought out ESPN reporters and 100% backed Jeff Capel. Griffin went as far to say that he thinks that OU have made a great mistake.
Way to stand up for someone that you think of so highly. Rookie of the Year + All Round nice guy!

To me it seems like in all sports teams want to win now. There is no patience to wait and let the team grow. This is really important in college because the players are so young. You never really know how kids will pan out. If you don't get the top recruits then you have to wait for the kids to develop.

Oklahoma had two losing seasons after Blake left. They lost their talent and were waiting for the players to develop. I guess Oklahoma didn't have the patience and fired the coach. I would love for Penn State to have coach Capel. Some team will be getting a very good coach.
