We need EJ to get back on track.
I loved what Aminu was doing last night. Mike was saying that Aminu recently said that he was going to stop over-thinking and just start letting the game come to him. That's the best thing for him right now in a game setting. He can go back to developing his Small Forward/perimeter game in the offseason. He's got to utilize the strengths that he does have. The knock on him has been consistency and confidence. He has shown flashes of excellence, but usually for only brief moments at a time. The work ethic, but he's got to be sure of himself to make it work.

Aminu should be shuttling back & forth from Bakersfield to get more playing time. Jordan Farmer's time in the NDBL helped him, I just don't know why the Clips seldom use the Bakersfield team.

I've never understood why EJ is Gordon's nickname. Can someone enlighten me?

Because he's Eric Jr, thus the nickname EJ

Bargnani out with an aggravated bone spur.
The Raptors have won the last 5 against us at Staples Center. No Bosh, no Bargnani, no problem? Eh...we'll see.

Terrible start. The team looks like its allergic to putting the ball into the hole (both teams do for the most part). On defense, we've given up 4 offensive rebounds so far.

Raptors up 21-18 after the first quarter. I really hope this isn't one of those games. This is a winnable game and we're playing like crap.

Things started out promising, but quickly dried up for us. We have missed countless times at the hoop. Blake and DJ have both missed dunks, and our other guys couldn't finish. It's crazy.
21-18 Toronto leads after 1.

Down 5 with 5:45 left in the first half. We're still not playing all that well

It may be a little too late now (for this season). There were times where sending him down could have helped him (larger role, more touches), but it was probably a case of the "usua"l belief that he would have benefited practicing with the real team. If we had more legit options at SF, then perhaps there would have been more incentive from Vinny to ship him to Bakersfield. He has only received a DNP-CD 1 time this season and has averaged 18 mpg for the rest.
Otoh, Farmar had the benefit of being on a local D-League team (LA) and was able to play in the D-League and the NBA all in one day.

We're starting to play better defense, so that's positive.
