Fun to watch, intriguing future (from a Lakers fan)

Post#1 » by vmor » Thu Apr 14, 2011 8:18 pm

Hi guys, this season may not have gone according to your wishes, but your young team is really fun to watch - even for this long-time Lakers fan. Clippers are as frustrating as the Lakers at times, but almost as much fun too. Clips have quite a few players with a nice potential. Your next season should be exciting - just don't let Donald mess it up

Blake Griffin will be undoubtedly one of the NBA stars!
(and by the time we manage to talk NBA into licensing, he'll probably be part of the initial group of our jumpSHOT NBA players' action figurines:)

Thanks.

DTS is going to have to put his money where his mouth is. Having Blake on the team, he's going to make his money back. In the past 7 or 8 years, he's been willing to give players big contracts to stay or to come here, but the real test will be to see if he's willing to go into the luxury tax if the situation calls for it. Obviously, the new CBA will determine how everything is handled, but he has to be willing to maximize our options.

I like the way that we're headed and some of the pieces that we have. The next steps are to locking up those pieces long term and bringing in another key piece while keeping the bench competitive.
