I would add Thompkins to our "key" reserves. If this kid could put on 20 lbs and still be athletic, we maybe adding another member to Lob City. Thompkins defense is pretty good too.
Should be a good 2 game series, I think that it will go 1-1, Chauncey/CP3 still need time (Caron too) w/ their new team mates.

I would have loved to have added Thompkins, but his picture is not up yet He just lost about 20lbs over the summer. Going into the draft, he was at about 15-16% body fat. He's worked his way down to below 10%. He needs to add on muscle, but that's going to be gradual.

1-1 would be cool. It's going to take awhile for our guys to really gel, so a win would be good for motivation heading into regular season.

It'll be nice to watch the guys play tomorrow night. I'm looking forward to it

If Thompkins adds 20 lbs of muscle he will be really hard to push out of the paint.Ok maybe 15lbs.

aahh I missed this game threads. Missed wathcing the Clippers. Can you believe that I was hpoing the weekend would pass by fast so it'd be monday? and I hate work.

Thompkins might be ahead of Cook on the depth chart. Ramona Shelburne of ESPNLA said she sees him as a 15mpg guy this season. Jovan Buha of Clipperblog says his game is very similar to Channing Frye. Not bad for a 2nd rounder with no expectations.

I was really surprised & impressed w/ Thompkins. I have read (Andande & Shelourne)where writers are "high" on prospects and thought that it was just publicity,the kid is for real. Great draft day 2nd Rd. steal. Clipper Nation will love Thompkins

Yeah, Thompkins was the guy some of the folks were raving about and everything I've seen so far of him(which is just some clips) looked pretty solid.
He's kind of the absolute opposite of Griffin, but that could be a nice compliment off the bench, after our opponents stacked the lanes against Griffin/Jordan and taking some time to adjust to a big that can shoot the mid range jumper.

It will be nice to watch this game tonight, I'm sure the media is gonna hype it up though.

Unfortunately I'll miss this game. I'll be on my way to Colorado for vacation, but here's for hoping the best in the first of many meetings between the 2 LA teams!

Athletic, yes. He out Jumped DJ to start the scrimmage & moves very fluidly. He is a freakin gazelle
