Clipper's MLK Day Games

As a Season Ticket Holder, this is a "MUST" game to attend. As someone who grew up in Canada, I love the way that the U.S.A. (on a whole) celebrate this day.
I love the way the Clipper's organization gets an "Afro-American" choir to sing the National Anthem & then there are the videos discussing their meaning of MLK Day. The atmosphere at these games is always on "high," I am hoping its the same this year.
Happy MLK Day to everyone, he made life better for ALL, not just one group of people!

I've never been to a Clippers game on Martin Luther King Day, and based on how you describe it RiversideClips, it sounds like something I should do one day. I remember that I did the game thread last year on MLK day and wrote a small note about this day. I figured I could repost what I wrote from last year.

Since it is Martin Luther King Day, here in the United States, I would like everyone to take a little time and reflect on what Dr. King did. Dr. King "fought" hard for civil rights. We are all people that live here on this Earth, so we should make the best of it to try and get along. We have come a long way with race relations. So just a small thing to remember.

Have a wonderful day everybody

Happy MLK Day everyone.

"I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear."

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

"Let no man pull you low enough to hate him"

- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I haven't been to an MLK Matinée yet either. Maybe next year. Enjoy the game Riverside.
