Game #11: Clippers(7-3) @ Jazz(8-4)
Posted: Tue Jan 17, 2012 5:19 pm
by Det the Threat
After winning their third in a row and sixth in a row at home the Clippers will head to Salt Lake City, where they face the new look Utah Jazz.
The Jazz are one of the early season surprises, as no one expected them to play this well right now, and are, as always, very tough at to play at their arena, where they've only lost once in six tries.
The Clippers will be in the middle of their back-to-back-to-back and certainly will need some more guys then last night against the Nets, when most of the starters were forced to play heavy minutes.
The key to this one will be, once again, rebounding the ball, especially against that deep Jazz frontcourt, and trying to keep the turnovers low.

Five Questions:Will we have enough left in the tank to win in Salt Lake City?
How many minutes will Vinny play Billups?
Will Leslie get some more burn?
Over/Under? Blake, DJ and Reggie will hit more then .500 of their foul shots combined?
Who's going to score off the bench?
Discuss and Go Clips Go!!!

What the hell? I'd thought there would be a lot of people here. Anyways, should be a fun game, sucks that both teams will be missing key players, especially the Clippers. The Jazz might miss Favors and Howard, though I think Favors will play.

It's too early Mr. Kong, and the Jazz don't warrant much attention

. Jk, I hope that at least Mo can play, our bench was coming up very short last game, and we need some bench production with this long stretch of games...... 4 games in 6 days wtf

Utah is always a tough place to play. I'm OK if Paul sits out again but I really hope Mo is ready to go.

Anyone know CP3 and Mo's status? To be honest, I would prefer them to have not even being on the plane, and just staying home and healing for a possible Wednesday return at home.

I like the stretch of consecutive games. I've been wanting to watch games and not having to wait 3 days for the next one.
This is gonna be a tough one. Should be exciting.

A win in Salt Lake City would be great. According to Steve Perrin, we have won 1 game in Utah since 1990 (1-41). I think we will need at least one of Paul or Mo back to have a solid chance. If we're playing with the same team as yesterday, then they we're going to have our work cut out for us.

I'm happy we are playing all back2back games. I would like to watch Clippers everyday.
I was getting pissed that Lakers have played 5 more games than us.

We will need everyone in uniform playing HARD to get the "W!" Utah hasn't been too kind to us in the past, we really need this one.

Madelyn is saying that Vinny hopes to have Mo back tonight, or tomorrow or Friday. He's on the court shooting with the team now, but it depends on how his foot feels.

This means Blake can't go 5-14 from the line, or we're screwed.
