What's up with DJ?

DJ started the season so strong, in the past 15 games he has disappeared. DJ has gotten into early foul trouble and his head seems to be out of the game.
Can DJ turn it around this season or do ( if we can) package him in a Trade near the deadline?

Stick with him. He just needs to be smart with his fouls, I think thats all it is. Theres not that many games I can think of he hasn't had an impact if he hasn't been in foul trouble. Foul trouble = bad game for him I think.

Last 15 games dude your nuts lol coming into the road trip DJ was having some beast of games by either adding double doubles or boards and blocks.
The road trip has been the up and down part with inconsistent mins he has a solid game 3 games on the road struggled on the others. Check the game logs he has been strong this season has to adjust to mins dip though.

he needs to stay out of foul trouble, he's always trying to go for unnecessary blocks rather than just doing a great contested shot.
he's been killing me on my fantasy team -.-' very unproductive. sigh.

I agree with what many of you have said. DJ has been inconsistent due to his foul trouble. If he plays smarter and is able to stay in the game he will have an impact. It's still a learning process for him and he's a young guy. Hopefully he starts to play better for us during this stretch of the season.

I see where you are coming from New Era, I'm just saying that Blake's rebounds have been up b/c DJ hasn't been on the floor as much. If this is a learning curve, I am cool w/ his progression. You have to admit that DJ looks more frustrated in the past month than the first 2 months. Maybe he is trying to hard, I may be nuts, but I still think he can play better.
New Era, I do see where his rebounds & long arms help us on "D"

Foul trouble, and Vinny has been electing to go with Kenyon and Evans over him in some other situations, so he's playing less than he usually would, and of course, that always has an impact on total production.
He should be fine.

I just don't understand why he's made his one purpose this season to be the league leader in blocks. It seems as if all he wants is to pad his block stats, even at the expense of giving up easy points should he miss. And not only does he miss, he tries going for one's that are near impossible to block, even for him.
I don't seem to remember him being like this last year.

He wasn't too far off last season, but you are correct. He really needs to just watch Dwight Howard and take all the good from what he does and try to imitate that. He just needs to stay on his feet more and know that sometimes altering shots is better defense than blocking them, and that he can even block some of these shots without getting out of position.

I think he'll get back to his early season self sometimes soon...
