Clippers Recall Travis Leslie

The Los Angeles Clippers have recalled rookie guard Travis Leslie from the Bakersfield Jam, the team announced today.

In his four game stint with the Jam, Leslie averaged 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 21.0 minutes per game.

The 47th overall selection in the 2011 NBA Draft, Leslie has averaged 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds in eight games played for the Clippers this season.

The current roster now stands at 10 players.

I smell a trade coming, why would Leslie get recalled now? Could it be true that Bledsoe & Gomes for Crawford may be more true than just rumours?

That's certainly a possibility, but I think it has to do with the Clippers being back home. They assigned him to the D-League when they began the road trip, now they'll have 5 more home games before heading back out on the road.

Anyone know how he did in the D-league? Stats-wise?

55.8% shooting and 66.7% from the foul line.

I wish he could get his free throw percentage up. Hopefully we will play him if we can blow teams out.
