This guy had an amazing offseason for us, follows it up with this underrated trade for Nick Young where we give nothing.

Looking at other teams and the trades they did during the deadline makes me appreciate Olshey so much more.

Neil for GM and Exec of the year!

Thank you Neil. It would be an absolute crime/joke if he did not win the award.

I would bow down to this guy if I could. The moves he's made this year are the best I've seen in a while. I said it before, Olshey had a championship contending team put together, pretty much overnight, when Billups was healthy. That's not an easy thing to do. It's truly a shame Billups got hurt.

He deserves the award no doubt. And I think SVG deserves coach of the year.

Based on the GM survey a little while ago, it looks like he has it in the bag. I think he clinched it in December and would have only lost it if another GM managed to pair Howard with another star. I like Neil and I'm glad that we now have a legitimate GM running this ship.

So far he's been great. I'm a big person on not making rash decisions because of panick and fear. He held off on trading Bledsoe to New Orleans, and again on trading him to try to get a SG before the deadline. He got something for Brian Cook.

He's been good so far, hopefully he continues this way.

Now it is time to make the wisest decision of the year and fire VDN. I thought they should have fired Casey. However, once they decided to hire Del Negro, I supported him and always thought he got his teams to play with full effort. However, even that is now lacking.

This game was the final straw. Perhaps Jeff Van Gundy would be interested. Or even make Chuancey the coach.

Lol, Chauncey as coach. Now that would be something.

I was pretty much joking about Chauncey, but I think he would probably do just as good of a job. Besides, it would be impossible because I think the union contract forbids player/coaches

I agree that Oshley should win G.M. of the Year. but I think the Coach trophy should go to Rick Adelman, the dude can flat out coach.
If we were to fire VDN & couldn't get someone like Jerry Sloan, what about Sam Cassell? Sammy is now an assistant & I am sure that his head is sucking in all the info he has learned on the other side of the court.
Sammy is LOVED in Clipper Nation & he would come cheap.

I don't want Cassell to learn through his mistakes with this team. These few years are going to be the best chance we have had at a chip since........

Well since forever.
