Reggie Evans Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by bigball123 » Tue Jul 3, 2012 8:39 pm

Wow! I really didn't expect to be making this one. I can't think of a more deserving player on our entire roster that should receive more praise than Reggie. An absolute enforcer and tremendous worker, Reggie brought a toughness to our front court that is nearly unmatched in today's NBA. Brooklyn now has an absolute gem, and I'm almost positive that he will become a fan favorite! Reggie will continue to be my favorite bench player in the league, and I wish him the best of luck!

Reggie, Reggie, Reggie!!! :D

Yeh no doubt Reggie was a great game changer for us! gonna miss that flat out hustle, didn't do much offensively and I guess thats part of the reason we weren't to keen to keep him. Kind of a shame, but its not gonna change too much I don't think.. Reggie was great! but goodluck to him in Brooklyn.

I'm going to miss hearing the Reggie chants. He's a lunch pail type of player that may not be the most skilled or best talent, but is going to work hard every night. The Memphis series was the perfect style for him. It was physical, it was dirty and a grind it out series. Without him, we don't advance to the 2nd round. As a fan, I will always be thankful to have had him on this team and will fond memories of the battles that he and the rest of the guys went through.

Brooklyn fans are going to quickly become fans of Reggie Rebound if they weren't already. They are going to have a quality team that can make some noise next season. I'll be tuning in to watch. I wish Reggie the best in the BK.

Great signing for the nets. We were not going to re-sign him with the LO trade but we will miss him. He is the best rebounder in the game.

Wow this hurts pretty bad, Reggie was my 3rd favorite player on the team......

Wish you the best Reggie, you're awesome. He provided things to the team that you don't see in boxscores, that's why he was priceless.

He's a great hustle guy, watched a lot of him as a Raptor, and when you have a perimeter and non rebounding big man on your team he is such a good compliment. His inability to shoot and score isn't as big a deal because your C is out shooting jumpers, soothe floor is spread, and he picks up the rebounding slack.

NJ made a great decision because that is what they have in Lopez and Teletovic who are their starting 4/4.

He's the one who put the G in Goon Squad. His heart, hustle and rebounding prowess will be sorely missed. However, his FT% won't be.
